Abstract

A retail dispenser for bread rolls has housing with a readiness chamber (2) that is separated from the sloped (8) removal compartment (10) by a partition (4). Bread rolls are transferred from the readiness chamber over the barrier into the removal compartment by action of a hand-lever. The partition, sloped surface and removal chamber are a modular unit within the surrounding housing. The modular insert is fabricated as a one-piece transparent plastic unit. The two sides of the module are a mirror image of the other. The removal chamber is covered by a transparent ridge-roof panel. The modular removal chamber is located on the housing by locating pins. The housing is a movable drawer or sliding box.
