Abstract

Eine diskrete PIN – Tastatur ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ziffern nicht mehr wie bisher auf die Oberfläche der Tasten gedruckt sind, sondern im Inneren der Taste als Leuchtziffer erscheinen. Die Oberfläche der Tasten ist durchsichtig und zum Erkennen der Ziffer muss der Betrachter senkrecht auf sie schauen, um die in der Tiefe der Taste aufleuchtende Ziffer zu erkennen. Aus jedem anderen Winkel betrachtet ist die Ziffer nicht zu lesen und die Senkrechte wird vom Kopf des Bedienenden abgedeckt.
Des Weiteren wird zu jeder PIN – Eingabe die Ziffernfolge auf der Tastatur durch ein Zufallsprinzip (mit ca. 3,6 Millionen Möglichkeiten) neu zusammengestellt. Der Bedienende kann sich seine PIN – Nummer nicht mehr nach einem Eingabeschema auf der Standardtastatur merken. Er muss bei mehreren Eingabevorgängen jeweils unterschiedliche Tasten betätigen.
Die Elektronik der Tastatur wertet die jeweiligen Tasten immer übereinstimmend mit der durch das Zufallsprinzip angezeigten Ziffer. Ein Ausspionieren der...

  • Das Eingeben der Persönlichen Identitätsnummer" (PIN) an Bargeldautomaten und an Kassensystemen gehört heute zum Alltag.
  • Immer häufiger kommt es vor, dass Trickbetrüger die Eingabe der „PIN" mittels Minikamera bzw. Beobachtung ausspionieren. Anschließend wird die Karte entwendet bzw. kopiert.
  • Die diskrete Anwendung der „PIN" besteht also im Interesse von Banken und Karteninhabern gleichermaßen.

Claims (1)

  1. Eine diskrete PIN – Tastatur ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ziffern nicht mehr wie bisher auf die Oberfläche der Tasten gedruckt sind, sondern im Inneren der Taste als Leuchtziffer erscheinen. Die Oberfläche der Tasten ist durchsichtig und zum Erkennen der Ziffer muss der Betrachter senkrecht auf sie schauen, um die in der Tiefe der Taste aufleuchtende Ziffer zu erkennen. Aus jedem anderen Winkel betrachtet ist die Ziffer nicht zu lesen und die Senkrechte wird vom Kopf des Bedienenden abgedeckt. Des Weiteren wird zu jeder PIN – Eingabe die Ziffernfolge auf der Tastatur durch ein Zufallsprinzip (mit ca. 3,6 Millionen Möglichkeiten) neu zusammengestellt.
