Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Bruchband, bei welchem das Druckkissen mit dem Gürtel oder Bande durch eine Feder verbunden ist. Um bei einem solchen Bruchband einerseits eine Drehung der Feder mit der Pelotte zu verhindern, andererseits eine seitliche Neigung derselben zu gestatten, ist gemäß der Erfindung die letzte Windung der Feder durch bogenförmige Ausschnitte von Schließblechen hindurchgeführt, welche auf dem Gürtel und dem Kissen durch Schrauben gesichert sind und sich zweckmäßig gegen ein verstärktes Stück des Gürtels und gegen einen in der Pelotte befesigten Bügel stützen.
