Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Anordnung an gepanzerten Automobilen und besteht darin, daß eine Klappe zum Abschließen einer Beobachtungsöffnung vorgesehen ist, welche durch Drehung von Hebeln schnell und leicht herabgelassen werden kann.The invention relates to an arrangement on armored automobiles and consists in that a flap is provided to close an observation opening, which can be lowered quickly and easily by turning levers.

Die an dem aus Stahlblech hergestellten Schild ι angeordnete Klappe 10, welche um ein auf der Bedachung des Wagens angeordnetes Scharnier drehbar ist, wird von zwei Armen 11 getragen, die an Rohren 12 angelenkt sind. Die Rohre 12 gleiten auf senkrechten, an dem Schild 1 befestigten Stangen 13 entlang. Der Schild 1 trägt innen zwei senkrechte feste Lager, in welchen sich Achsen 14 drehen, die am unteren Ende einen durch den Schild 1 hindurchgreifenden Hebel 14" und oben einen Handgriff 14* tragen. Wenn die Klappe gehoben wird, gleiten die Rohre 12 bis an das obere Ende der Stangen 13 und werden mittels der Hebel 14 a festgestellt, deren Ansätze 15 sich in Aussparungen 16 der Rohre 12 einlegen (Fig. 3). Will man die Klappe schließen, so hat man nur nötig, die beiden Hebel 14* derart zu drehen, daß die Ansätze 15 aus den Aussparungen 16 der Rohre 12 austreten; die Klappe fällt durch ihr Gewicht sofort zurück, während die Rohre an den Stangen 13 herabgleiten.
