Wärmedämmplatten werden im großem Umfang im Bauwesen zur Fassaden- und Dachdämmung eingesetzt. Beim Transport vom Hersteller oder vom Großhändler auf die Baustelle benötigen diese Wärmedämmplatten ein großes Transportvolumen und werden oft während des Transportes beschädigt. Der so eingewikkelte Plattenstapel wird auf zwei rechteckigen balkenähntichen Leisten aus EPS/XPS aufgesetzt und mit entsprechender Klebetechnik verklebt. Sie stellen damit eine eigene Palette dar. Diese Palette kann nun mft Hilfe von moderner Transporthebetechnik (Gabelstabler), wie bei Holzpaletten transportiert und verladen werden. Die rechteckigen balkenähnlichen Leisten aus EPS/XPS bestehen aus Resten (Verschnitten) beim Schneiden der Wärmedämmplatten aus den EPS/XPS-Blöcken und werden zusammen mit den anfallenden Wärmedämmplattenresten auf der Baustelle als Recyclingmaterial dem Hersteller der Wärmedämmplatten zugeführt.

Verpackung für leichte Bauplatten vorzugsweise Wärmedämmplatten aus EPS/XPS oder PUR und anderen wärmedämmenden Materialien, die auf Grund ihrer eigenen mechanischen Stabilität ohne feste Verpackung zu den Einsatzorten transportiert werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in Folienband gewickelten Plattenstapel mit zwei rechteckigen balkenähnlichen Leisten aus EPS/XPS am Boden des Plattenstapel durch Aufkleben verbunden sind. 1.
