Claims (12)

1. Ausschließlich aus unversponnenen Fasern bestehender Vliesstoff (12, 16, 20, 21), der zumindest an einer Flach­ seite durch eine Vermaschung (8, 14/15, 18/19, 23) der ober­ flächennahen Fasern mechanisch verfestigt und außerdem auf­ grund von Klebefasern oder anderen Bindemitteln klebeverfe­ stigt ist, wobei der Vliesstoff (12, 16, 20, 21) wenigstens zweilagig mit wenigstens einer Lage (5) mit im wesentlichen längs orientierten Fasern (3') und einer weiteren, aus einem zick-zack-förmig gelegten Flor bestehenden Lage (1) mit im wesentlichen quer orientierten Fasern (3) gebildet ist.1.   • - daß der Vliesstoff (12) einen Anteil stehender Fasern enthält, die sich im wesentlichen quer zu der vermaschten (8) Flachseiten des Vliesstoffes (12) erstrecken und von dieser nach Art eines Velours in Form von Polfasern auf­ ragen,
  • - daß die Klebeverfestigung des Vliesstoffes (12) auf den oberflächennahen, durch die Vermaschung (8) mechanisch verfestigten Teilbereich (10) der Dicke (D) des Vlies­ stoffes (12) beschränkt ist und
  • - daß die nicht klebeverfestigten Polfasern (11) mechanisch ausgerüstet, z. B. nach Art eines Lodens geschoren und ge­ bürstet oder anderweitig mechanisch veredelt sind.
5. Nonwoven fabric according to claim 1, characterized in that

  • - der Vliesstoff (20) an beiden gegenüberliegenden Flach­ seiten jeweils durch Vermaschen (18, 19) oberflächennaher Fasern mechanisch verfestigt ist,
  • - wobei die Dicke des Vliesstoffes (S) geringer ist als die in Dickenrichtung gemessene, gemeinsame Größe (2 × h) der Maschen (18, 19) der einen und der anderen Seite und
  • - daß Fasern für die Maschen (18) der einen Flachseite und Fasern für die Maschen (19) der anderen Flachseite in ei­ ner gemeinsamen, etwa mittig im Vliesstoff (20) liegenden Ebene liegen,
  • - wobei die Fasern dieser mittigen Ebene besonders stark gegenseitig eingebunden sind, d. h. einen höheren Einbin­ dungsgrad aufweisen, als im oberflächennahen Bereich und bevorzugt parallel zu den Flachseiten ausgerichtet sind.
