Claims (8)

Ausschließlich aus unversponnenen Fasern bestehender Vliesstoff, der an beiden gegenüberliegenden Flachseite durch eine Vermaschung der oberflächennahen Fasern mecha­ nisch verfestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke (S) des Vliesstoffes (20) geringer ist als die in Dickenrichtung gemessene, gemeinsame Größe (2 × h) der Ma­ schen (18, 19) der einen und der anderen Seite und daß Fa­ sern für die Maschen (18) der einen Flachseite und Fasern für die Maschen (19) der anderen Flachseite in einer gemein­ samen, etwa mittig im Vliesstoff (20) liegenden Ebene lie­ gen, wobei die Fasern dieser mittigen Ebene besonders stark gegenseitig eingebunden sind, d. h. einen höheren Einbin­ dungsgrad aufweisen, als im oberflächennahen Bereich und be­ vorzugt parallel zu den Flachseiten ausgerichtet sind und daß der Vliesstoff zusätzlich zu der Maschenverfestigung (18, 19) aufgrund von Klebefasern oder anderen Bindemitteln klebeverfestigt ist.1.
