Der trichterförmige Behälter α zur Aufnahme der zu verlesenden Kaffeebohnen ist mit seinem nach unten düsenartig gestalteten Halsteil durch eine öffnung der Platte b des Tisches geführt und stützt sich vermittels Streben c auf diesen. In der Wandung des Trichterhalsteiles befinden sich im vorliegenden Falle vier vermittels Regulierschieber d verschließbare Öffnungen, durch welche die Kaffeebohnen im Behälter α austreten, um in schräg verlaufenden Führungskanälen e auf den Auslesetisch zu gelangen. Dabei ist die Tischplatte zwecks Vermeidung des starken Geruches, welchen Tuchunterlagen -— wie solche bei den seitherigen Verlesemaschinen verwendet werden — rasch annehmen, mit Blech verkleidet. Die Regulierschieber d können mit Hilfe drehbarer Hebel / beliebig eingestellt und durch Flügelmuttern (Fig. 1) festgelegt werden. Damit die Kaffeebohnen im Behälterinnern den Austrittsöffnungen selbsttätig zugeführt werden, ist in dem Behälterhalsteil eine Kegelkappe g angeordnet. Dieselbe sitzt auf einer Klappe und ist mit dieser auf einer drehbaren Welle h befestigt, welche entsprechend gelagert und am freien Ende zur Aufnahme eines Griffes i umgebogen ist. An diesem Ende kann die Welle h durch einen beweglichen Gabelhebel k gegen Drehung gesichert werden. Um den Behälter α rasch entleeren zu können, wird der Gabelhebel aus dem Bereich der Welle h bewegt und diese am Griff i in die strichpunktiert gezeichnete Lage (Fig. 2) gedreht.
