The invention relates to a device for cutting pieces of mat-shaped roll goods, in particular clamped felt wool.

In the area of roof insulation, so-called clamped felt wool is used on a large scale for both thermal and sound insulation purposes. This clamped felt wool is placed piece by piece with a certain excess between the roof rafters and then expands between the rafters and is held there without any further aids.

Such clamped felt wool is manufactured and sold in rolls, for example rolls with a diameter of 75 cm and a length of 125 cm are common. During processing, such a roll is partially unrolled and the required piece is cut off freehand with a knife. Such a piece of clamped felt wool mat is then clamped between the rafters of the roof to be insulated.

With this usual procedure, it cannot be avoided that the cutting edge is not cut off smoothly, especially due to the material properties, but

The object of the invention is therefore to create a solution with which pieces of mat-shaped roll goods can be cut precisely in the simplest possible way.

This object is achieved in a device of the type described at the outset by a tubular holder for the rolled goods with a lateral outlet for pulling out the rolled goods and a cutting table adjacent to the outlet with a cutting device that can be moved parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rolled goods.

With such a device, which can be manufactured in a simple manner, such rolled goods, for example clamped felt wool, can be cut easily and precisely. To do this, the completely rolled up clamped felt wool is inserted into the tubular holder of the device and the end of the roll is pulled out of the side outlet as far as the piece to be cut off.

In a further advantageous embodiment, the cutting table has a knife guide in the area of the movable cutting device. This can, for example, be designed like a box with a lower box that is flush with the cutting table level at the top and is open at the top, and an upper guide box that is arranged at a distance from the cutting table level in order to enable the rolled goods to be guided through the cutting device.

In the following, the term mat-shaped roll goods is understood to mean, by way of example but not limitation, clenun felt wool, which is used for roof insulation (heat and sound insulation).

Such clamping felt wool is usually manufactured as a roll, for example clamping felt wool rolls with a length of 1.25 m and a diameter of 0.75 m are sold. To insert clamping felt wool between two adjacent rafters of a roof, it is therefore necessary to partially unroll the roll and cut off a piece. The device 1 according to the invention is used to facilitate this cutting and to be able to carry it out precisely.

The cutting device can be moved from above along the upper cutting box 7, with the knife of the cutting device being so long that it extends through the level of the table surface into the lower cutting box 6 and thus cuts through the clamped felt wool.

The cutting table 3 is also provided with a stop bar 8, which can be adjusted transversely to the cutting direction, for the edge of the unrolled roll material to be cut off. This stop bar 8 is assigned a length measuring device 9, which is designed as a measuring bar. The stop bar 8 can either be arranged so that it can move in guides or it can have insertion pins on the underside into which it can be inserted at both ends along the length measuring device in holes provided there. The start of the length measuring device 9 is located at the level of the cutting device.

The cutting table 3 is arranged on a frame, generally designated 10, which is designed to be collapsible and/or telescopic, which enables easy assembly and disassembly or transport of the device 1.

If desired, the tubular receptacle 2 can be closable at both ends, for example a closed rear wall 11 and an openable front wall 12 can be provided.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment shown. Other embodiments are possible without departing from the basic idea. For example, the cutting device can also be implemented differently and so on.

Claims (7)

1. Device for cutting pieces of mat-shaped rolled goods, in particular clamped felt wool, characterized by a tubular holder ( 2 ) for the rolled goods with a lateral outlet ( 4 ) for pulling out the rolled goods and a cutting table ( 3 ) laterally adjacent to the outlet ( 4 ) with a cutting device movable parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rolled goods. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame ( 10 ) of the cutting table ( 3 ) is designed to be collapsible. 3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the frame ( 10 ) consists at least partially of telescopic elements. 4. Device according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the cutting table ( 3 ) is provided with a stop bar ( 8 ) which can be moved transversely to the cutting direction for the edge of the unrolled rolled goods to be cut off. 5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that a length measuring device ( 9 ) is assigned to the stop bar ( 8 ). 6. Device according to claim 1 or one of the following, characterized in that lateral guides for the unrolled roll material to be cut are provided on the cutting table ( 3 ) adjacent to the outlet ( 4 ) of the holder ( 2 ). 7.
