Claims (12)

1. Seitenblinkleuchte (4) für den Einbau in die Abdeckkappe (2) eines Außenrückspie­ gels (1) für Kraftfahrzeuge mit
  • - einem Leuchtengehäuse, das eine langgestreckte Lichtaustrittsöffnung (3) auf­ weist, die sich im eingebauten Zustand von der vom Fahrzeug entfernt liegen­ den Außenseite der Abdeckkappe (2) ausgehend in etwa horizontal zum Fahr­ zeug hin erstreckt,
  • - wenigstens einer Gruppe von Lichtquellen (12), die längs einer Linie in etwa gleichförmig verteilt angeordnet sind, die sich im eingebauten Zustand in etwa horizontal über die Breite der Lichtaustrittsöffnung (3) erstreckt, und
  • - wenigstens einem optisch aktiven Bauelement (10), welches das Licht der we­ nigstens einen Gruppe von Lichtquellen (12) in einer Hauptabstrahlrichtung bündelt, die im eingebauten Zustand im wesentlichen in Fahrtrichtung weist, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß wenigstens ein langgestreckter Lichtleiter (8, 8') vorgesehen ist, der in etwa die gleiche Länge wie die Linie besitzt, längs derer die Gruppe von Lichtquellen (12) angeordnet ist, und der sich parallel zu dieser Linie erstreckt, und
daß das Licht der wenigstens einer weiteren Lichtquelle (15) in das näher beim Fahrzeug liegende Stirnende (14) des Lichtleiters (8, 8') eingekoppelt wird, der es nahezu vollständig zu seinem gegenüberliegenden Stirnende (16) leitet und dort in einer zur Fahrtrichtung im wesentlichen quer verlaufenden Richtung abstrahlt.1.
