Claims (14)

Vorrichtung zum dichten Verschließen eines an seinem oberen Ende eine Dichtfläche (1a) aufweisenden Steigrohres (1) eines Verkokungsofens mit einem ebenfalls eine Dichtfläche (2a) aufweisenden Steigrohrdeckel (2), der mit seiner Dichtfläche (2a) auf die Dichtfläche (1a) des Steigrohrs (1) aufsetzbar ist, und mit einer Betätigungseinrichtung zum Öffnen und Schließen des Steigrohrdeckels (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dichtfläche (1a) des Steigrohres (1) und die Dichtfläche (2a) des Steigrohrdeckels (2) ebene Flächen sind und daß die Betätigungseinrichtung in Schließstellung des Steigrohrdeckels (2) die Dichtflächen mindestens einmal relativ zueinander bewegt.1.
