Abstract
Description
Metallic conduit pipe sheathed with a thermoplastic material, in particular made of light metal As feeder lines from the storage tank to the burner central heating systems have long been bare, i. H. uninsulated Copper pipes used. Such tubes are also used to guide the cooling liquid in refrigeration units, for example refrigerators, where pipes are made of other materials have not yet been used due to their susceptibility to corrosion. In the pneumatic In addition to the increasingly prevalent plastic pipes, control and regulation technology especially for special purposes, bare copper pipes are also used to a considerable extent, which are combined into a bundle and covered by a common protective sheath will.
For cost reasons as well as for reasons of material supply one is in recent times more and more have gone over to it, in addition to copper pipes Steel or light metal, in particular aluminum, to be used. The danger Occurring corrosion phenomena on light metal pipes one has for example thereby trying to eliminate that the individual tubes with a sheathing overmoulded with a thermoplastic material. Since the casing is made of plastic, for example made of polyvinyl chloride, however, on the surface of the Metal pipe does not adhere firmly, z. B. when laying at the end of the pipe between Sheath and pipe surface penetrating water easily due to capillary action Move along the pipe over longer distances. Soil water contains z. B. Chlorides, which destroy the passive layer of the aluminum and cause pitting.
The invention eliminates these difficulties in one with one thermoplastic plastic sheathed metallic conduit pipe for inclusion or for the transport of liquids or gases, especially made of light metal, overcome. According to the invention is on the outer surface of the conduit pipe a layer that adheres at least to the metal surface of the conduit pipe arranged on the basis of low molecular weight polymers. Such a thing, at least with that Leituilgsrohr firmly glued coating forms a reliable corrosion protection for the conduit, there, apart from mechanical damage, every forwarding of the corrosion-promoting liquid on the metallic surface of the Line pipe is avoided. This layer thus offers security for longitudinal watertightness and water vapor diffusion, corrosion damage is excluded. The use of compared to copper pipes, much cheaper pipes made of more susceptible to corrosion Materials can thus be given a lot of space in technology. So can z. B. line pipes according to the invention, such as aluminum, as well as the known Copper or plastic pipes combined into a bundle and as a core in a so-called. Tube bundle cables are to be bordered together. Such cables are characterized by a relatively They have a low weight, but they have the advantage over plastic pipes increased heat resistance with z. B. external heating.
In practicing the invention, the adhesive layer is made of atactic Polybutene with the addition of a natural or synthetic wax. The bonding using such a material has proven to be particularly advantageous if pipelines made of a non-corrosion-resistant material are used, which are coated with a coating made of polyvinyl chloride. The adhesive leaves easily on the pipe surface, z. B. by rinsing in the liquid state, apply and vary the thickness of the layer using suitable scrapers.
Instead of choosing an adhesive layer based on polybutene, it can often also be advantageous to make these from polyisobutylene and natural or synthetic resins. If necessary, also with the addition of waxes or fillers.
The invention is based on the embodiment shown in the figure explained in more detail.
The light metal, in particular made of aluminum, existing pipeline 1, which with the layer 2 on the base of low molecular weight polymers is provided. Over layer 2 is the envelope 3 applied from a thermoplastic material, which sit over the layer 2 the pipe t is glued.
The anti-corrosive effect is based on the cover of the metallic surface through the layer 2 and on the other hand in the bonding of the Sheath 3 with the material of the pipeline. Because of this double effectiveness wtrd * secure corrosion protection achieved. At the same time is the water vapor diffusion practically prevented.
The adhesive effect of layer 2 depends on the quantity ratio of the above components and can be adjusted so that a bond does not have a disadvantageous effect during assembly.
