Die Neuerung besteht darin, daß die Füllschächte bewegliche, von der aus dem Aschenfall nach der Feuerbrücke strömenden Luft von unten beheizte Bodenplatten besitzen und durch Rohre mit dem Feuerraum oberhalb des der Feuerbrücke anliegenden Rostendes verbunden sind.The invention relates to a furnace with two lying to the side of the furnace, as Degassing chambers formed filling shafts. Die Luft wird unter den Platten f hinweg durch die mittels Klappen k regelbaren Kanäle i und / zur Feuerbrücke geführt und gibt dabei einen Teil ihrer Wärme an die Bodenplatten / ab. Die Hauptwärmequelle für die Entgasungsräume bilden die Wände m, welche diese Räume b vom Feuerraum trennen. Die sich in den Räumen b entwickelnden Gase gelangen durch die Öffnungen e in die Kanäle oder Rohre h und durch diese in den Feuerraum. Der Durchgang der Gase durch die Kanäle oder Rohre h kann durch Klappen g o. dgl. geregelt werden. Diese Gase sinken, weil sie weniger warm sind als die hocherhitzten Feuerungsgase, im Feuerraum nieder. Eine völlige Verbrennung wird dadurch gewährleistet, daß das entstehende Gasgemisch weitere Verbrennungsluft durch die Schlitze in der Feuerbrücke erhält.The gasification chambers b are arranged outside the furnace α.
