Aus der Patentschrift 69729 ist ein Verfahren bekannt geworden, bei welchem man Oberflächen dadurch farbig dekoriert, daß man ein mit einer lockeren Farbschicht präpariertes Papier mit dieser Schicht auf das zu dekorierende Werkstück legt, das Muster von der Rückseite scharf aufdruckt und sodann das Papier abzieht, wobei in den Linien des Musters die Farbpräparation sich von dem Papier ablöst und auf dem Werkstück sitzen bleibt. Man konnte bei diesem Verfahren abgesehen von Marmorierungen immer nur eine Farbe auf das Werkstück bringen.
