Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a thermometer and in particular to an improved one Thermometer that quickly and conveniently measures body temperature at certain points can measure.
Conventional mercury and / or electronic thermometers need one considerable time to measure body temperature. The conditions during the Measuring periods are particularly inconvenient and inconvenient for small children. Self the use of a thermometer stylus that measures body temperature from the inside It can be quite complex to record the auditory canal within a few seconds all families can afford such a thermometer. Regardless, you can the scales and the measurement angle in the auditory canal influence the measurement result.
In conventional electronic thermometers, the measuring head with a ther provided sensitive element. Body temperature can be controlled by oscillating the Resistance and the capacitor can be added in a simple manner. The The measurement result is shown on a display which is remote from the measuring head is arranged. The structural and environmental constraints make it happen but required that the measuring period lasts too long. It is impossible from that Infant who is screaming to get an effective reading. If the body If the temperature cannot be measured correctly, the decision can be falsified become.
Body temperature is measured with a thermometer stylus through the inner Hörka Once measured, the scales within the channel negatively influence the measurement result.
On the other hand, the measuring principle is that an infrared radiation against the ear drum emitted. Is the infrared radiation correctly projected onto the ear drum and reflected on the thermometer stylus perfectly, is theoretically the body temperature measured correctly. However, if the direction you want is not on the ear drum is corrected, the infrared sensor cannot record the reading, and the result is falsified. It follows that the thermometer stylus to educate effective reading must be handled correctly. There is therefore a Need an effective thermometer that measures body temperature correctly and can record quickly.
The object of the invention is to provide an improved thermometer that the body temperature at selected points, e.g. B. the mouth, armpit and anal Opening can accommodate appropriately and quickly.
Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide an improved thermometer with which is the disadvantage of conventional mercury thermometers, electronic Thermometers and the thermometer stylus occurs, solved in a flawless manner and body temperature can be measured easily.
The principle of the invention is that the temperature of the human body can serve as a heat sink, which is the temperature of the probe tip of the Thermome absorbed. Based on this, the temperature of the measuring tip of the Thermo meters are first heated to a first preset temperature value, the is higher than body temperature, e.g. B. is about 3-5 ° above body temperature. When the probe tip is in contact with the body part, the heat or tem temperature at the tip of the human body and finally absorbed a temperature equilibrium is achieved.
With the invention, the temperature equilibrium can be achieved within a few seconds can be achieved, which cannot be achieved with conventional thermometers. To the To solve the problem underlying the invention, the improved thermometer according to the invention, a control unit, an analog-digital converter, a display, a switch and a detection unit. The detection unit has a measurement metal tip that has a temperature detector as well as a tip heater records. A detector is also provided, which is arranged in the temperature detector net and is used to determine if the temperature measurement has started has one.
When the thermometer starts measuring body temperature, the top Heater, which is controlled by the control unit, the measuring tip. The The probe tip is heated and kept at a first temperature. This first tem temperature can be slightly higher than or equal to body temperature. If the probe tip placed in the mouth, armpit or anus, the tip Heating device heating by the arranged within the detector unit Detector. Accordingly, the measuring tip begins with the measurement of the body temperature maturity. The detected body temperature is then determined by the analog-digital Converter converted into a digital signal. This digital signal is on the Display shown, and a buzzer gives alarm by which the user is informed will mean that the final body temperature has been reached.
To prevent the probe from working incorrectly due to overheating, the Temperature detector can be set to a second temperature value. If the displayed temperature exceeds this second preset temperature, the Power supply to tip heater interrupted. Alternatively, the Energy feed into the tip heater is interrupted when the measurement period exceeds a preset interval. Such a device can be used for energy serve savings.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the probe tip can be externally via egg heating block or heater. If the probe tip the first preset temperature is reached, the buzzer can trigger an alarm, by which the user is informed that the thermometer is ready for use is. The first preset temperature can be the same or slightly higher than the body temperature can be selected. On the other hand, the detector and the tip Heating device in the detector unit consist of a thermostat conductor. This Thermostat conductor is temperature sensitive and gives off heat when an external one Voltage is applied.
The detector unit of the thermometer according to the present invention can with the Thermometer body to be connected via a measuring probe.
If the probe tip of the improved thermometer detector unit is small and is compact, is the energy that is used to heat the tip to the first preset Temperature is required to be relatively low. On the other hand, it affects the measurement don't peak the temperature change inside the mouth. The heat dissipation the mouth can also be reduced. Furthermore, when the probe tip be has already been heated to the first preset temperature, the body temperature can be measured immediately and without waiting, since the original body temperature can be lowered if it is absorbed by the probe, and this is common in the prior art.
Es zeigt:Below, the invention in conjunction with the drawing based on Ausfüh Examples explained. It shows:

In Fig. 1, the block diagram of the switching arrangement of the thermometer according to the inven tion is shown. The thermometer has a control unit 11 , an analog-digital converter 12 , a temperature detector 13 , a tip heater 14 , a switch 15 , a display 16 and a buzzer 17 . Furthermore, a sensor 18 can be switched on.
When the thermometer is to measure a body temperature, the switch 15 is triggered first and the tip heater 14 is set by the control unit 11 so that the probe tip is heated to a first preset temperature which is slightly higher than the body temperature. The measuring tip is heated in a pulse-like manner so that this first preset temperature can be maintained. The temperature detector 13 can detect the temperature at the measuring tip. These detected temperatures are then converted into digital values by the analog-to-digital converter 12 , and these are sent to the control unit 11 . The control unit 11 keeps the temperature at the measuring tip constant. When the temperature of the tip is lowered, the control unit 11 heats up to the first predetermined temperature with the aid of the tip heater 14 . When this first, preset temperature is reached, the buzzer 17 gives an alarm and informs the user that the thermometer is ready for the body temperature measurement. On the other hand, the display 16 also expresses the READY-TO-USE state.
Then the detector unit 19 of the thermometer can be arranged inside the mouth for temperature reading. The sensor 18 within the detector unit 19 , which is arranged inside the mouth, sends the detected temperature difference to the control unit 11 . In this case, the energy supply to the tip heater 14 is switched off. Accordingly, the body temperature is recorded via the temperature detector 13 . The detected temperature from the detector 13 is then sent to the control unit 11 via the analog-to-digital converter 12 . Finally, the temperature value is shown on the display 16 . When the temperature measurement is complete, the buzzer 16 gives another alarm to indicate to the user that the temperature has been fully measured. The reading shown on the display 16 is the respective body temperature of the patient.
Fig. 2 shows an expedient embodiment of the thermometer according to the inven tion. In this embodiment, the control unit 11 is represented by a microprocessor. The temperature detector 13 is e.g. B. designed as a thermostat conductor. The tip heater 14 may be represented by a chip resistor that is operated by a transistor 21 . The sensor 18 can also be made from a thermostat conductor. If the detector unit 19 is inserted into the mouth, the sensor 18 , which consists of a thermostatic conductor, can immediately record the temperature, and the energy supply to the tip heater 14 is switched off accordingly. If the detector unit 19 is not placed in the mouth and, on the other hand, if a certain period of time has passed, the energy source to the tip heater 14 is switched off in order to reduce the energy consumption. In this embodiment, the display 16 is in the form of a liquid crystal display . On the other hand, when the thermometer is not in use, the entire system can automatically go into standby mode so that the energy consumption is reduced.
Fig. 3 shows a circuit arrangement for another embodiment of a Thermome ters according to the invention. In this embodiment, the control unit 11 is in the form of an IC chip. The resistance / capacitance oscillation and comparison circuit 31 replaces the analog-digital converter 12 . The tip heater 14 consists of a thermostatic conductor. The temperature detector 13 is also a thermostatic conductor, and when a voltage is applied to the temperature detector 13 or the thermostatic conductor, the temperature detector 13 is automatically heated. An analog switch 32 is used to select the temperature detector 13 between heating up and temperature measurement. When the temperature detector 13 operates in the heating mode, the temperature detector 13 is heated to a first, preset temperature, and is continuously maintained at this temperature value. In Fig. 3, the sensor 18 can be provided with a photosensitive resistor. If the detector unit 19 is arranged inside the mouth, the photosensitive resistor can automatically record the temperature and switch off the heating for the temperature detector 13 . The analog switch 32 switches the entire system into the temperature detection circuit and starts measuring the body temperature.
Figure 4 shows a flow diagram of a preferred embodiment of the invention. The first preset temperature is 42 ° C, the second preset temperature 45 ° C. The heating time for the temperature detector 13 is 10 seconds when the switch 15 is actuated and the thermometer is triggered. In stage 400 , the temperature detector starts heating up. In step 401 , when the temperature of the temperature detector is equal to or higher than the first preset temperature, e.g. B. 42 ° C in stage 402 , the temperature is kept constant. In stages 403 , 405 , when the temperature detector is heated by pulse or voltage potential, the temperature at the temperature detector is kept equal to or slightly higher than the first preset temperature. If the temperature is lower than the first preset temperature of 42 ° C, the temperature detector is continuously heated. In the meantime, the heating interval is checked whether it has exceeded the preset 10 seconds in level 420 . If the heating time exceeds 10 seconds, the heating process is ended. Then the entire system is switched to the temperature detection mode as shown in step 421 . Finally, the process proceeds to step 422 , in which the temperature is determined and the end result is shown on the display.
When the thermometer is heating and warming up in step 404 , the buzzer 17 is placed in the alarm state, which indicates to the user that he can carry out the temperature measurement. If the temperature at the measuring tip exceeds the two te preset temperature, e.g. B. 45 ° C, the system goes into malfunction operation, as in stages 406 , 407 , and informs the user. This malfunction is also shown on the LCD display. If the probe tip is held constant in the first preset temperature 42 ° C for a period of ten seconds, the heating process is interrupted and the entire system goes into display mode, as shown in stages 409 , 421 and 422 .
In step 408 the thermometer begins to measure body temperature and in step 410 the heating of the probe stops immediately. In steps 411 and 412 , in which the thermometer starts measuring, the measured value just recorded is shown on the display. When a final temperature equilibrium is reached, the buzzer 17 gives an alarm and informs the user that the body temperature has been recorded. On the other hand, the final body temperature is shown on the display, as shown in steps 413 , 414 and 415 .
