die Bezugsfläche (31) durch einen zusätzlichen trapezförmigen oder rechteckigen Ring (30), der am drehenden Laufring oder Welle ange ordnet ist, gebildet wird
die Messeinheit - bestehend aus mindestens einer stehenden Ultra schallsender- (21) und Ultraschallempfangseinheit (22) und einer da zwischen auf dem drehenden Laufring angeordneten, die Ultraschall wellen reflektierenden, Bezugsfläche (31) - die Abstandsveränderung über die Phasendifferenz bzw. resonance mode locking oder die Lauf zeit zwischen dem empfangenen Signal (24) und dem Referenzsignal (23), das dem gesendeten Signal gleichwertig ist, bestimmt,
die Messeinheit beidseitig durch Dichteinrichtungen (10, 11, 12) vor Verschmutzungen von außerhalb des Lagers und/oder vor Verschmut zungen durch Schmierstoff aus dem Lager geschützt ist, damit die Ab standsmessung nicht beeinflusst wird.
