Für Rückscheiben haben sich diese Vorrichtungen bisher nicht durchsetzen können, weil sie eine relativ umständliche Installation erfordern. Man hat sich daher bislang im wesentlichen darauf beschränkt, die Rückscheibe des haltenden Kraftfahrzeuges gelegentlich zu säubern.
