Die auf der Zeichnung durch Fig. ι und 2 veranschaulichte Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Metallsprosse für Kunstverglasungen. Solche Sprossen werden fertig in den Handel gebracht. Die Neuerung ist nun darin zu erblicken, daß die aus Weichmetall hergestellte Sprosse von I-förmigem Profil α außer mit einem bekannten Blechüberzug z. B. aus Messing, Tombak, Kupfer b noch mit einer Einlage aus Pappe oder sonst einem billigen, weichen, am besten aufsaugungsfähigen Stofife c zwischen der Stirnfläche der Sprosse und dem Blechüberzug versehen ist. Die Einlage aus Pappe vermindert einerseits als Ersatz für das viel teuerere Metall die. Herstellungskosten und ermöglicht andererseits, daß solche Metallsprossen sich leichter verarbeiten lassen. Dies ist insbesondere insofern der Fall, als z. B. an scharfen Ecken die Stoßstellen (Fig. 2) der Metallstege nicht mehr wie bisher miteinander verlötet zu werden brauchen. Bei passender Wahl des einzulegenden Stoffes können nämlich die Stoßstellen der Einlage nach entsprechender Entfernung der metallischen Verkleidung auf kaltem Wege, etwa durch Wasserglaslösung, mit Kreide oder durch ein anderes Bindemittel verbunden werden.The invention illustrated in the drawing by FIGS. 1 and 2 relates to a metal rung for artificial glazing.
