Abstract
Description
Claims (8)
- - einem Lichtwellenleiter (1), der
- - eine Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) aufweist,
- - die der Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) gegenüberliegende Ober fläche (1B) und die Längsseitenflächen (1C, 1D) des Licht wellenleiters (1) mit Licht reflektierenden oder diffus zurückwerfenden Reflektoren (4) bedeckt sind,
- - mindestens einer vor einer Stirnseitenfläche des Lichtwel
lenleiters (1) angeordneten Lichtquelle (5),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß - - der Lichtwellenleiter (1) eine derartige Form aufweist, daß die Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) und die ihr gegenüber liegende Oberfläche (1B) des Lichtwellenleiters (1) einen von Null verschiedenen Winkel (α) bilden.
- - die Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) und/oder die ihr gegenüber liegende Oberfläche (1B) des Lichtwellenleiters (1) licht streuende Abschnitte (6) und ebene Abschnitte (7) auf weist,
- - und das Flächenverhältnis der ebenen Abschnitte (7) zu den Abschnitten (6) entlang dem Lichtwellenleiter (1) so ein gestellt wird, daß eine gleichmäßige Leuchtdichte des Lichtquellenelements (10) erzielt wird.
- - die Reflektoren (4) einstückig miteinander verbunden sind.
- - das Material der Reflektoren (4) aus einem thermoplasti schen Polyester, insbesondere auf der Basis von Polybuty lenterephtalar, und ferner insbesondere aus Pocan® geformt ist.
- - die Reflektoren (4) aus einem Folienmaterial, insbesondere auf der Basis von Polycarbonat, geformt sind und das Foli enmaterial mit weißer Farbe beschichtet oder bedruckt ist.
- - die mindestens eine Lichtquelle (5) eine Halbleiter- Lichtemissionsdiode ist.
- - auf der Seite der Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) ein Flüssig kristallelement angeordnet ist.
- - das Flüssigkristallelement durch Abstandshalter von der Lichtaustrittsfläche (1A) beabstandet gehaltert ist.
