Abstract
Description
The invention relates to sun visors for vehicles with solar modules are equipped to convert incident light into electrical energy to convert. Such a sun visor is known from DE-PS 40 03 399, on the outward-facing surface of the solar modules are attached. Such an arrangement of the solar modules does not correspond to the design pre positions of some designers. In addition, in the event of rear-end collisions che injuries to the vehicle occupants not completely by this arrangement be excluded. Finally, the outer surface of the sun visor due to the lighting conditions, for example when cornering or in shady conditions Environment applied differently during the journey, what for consumption cher this energy can have undesirable consequences.
It is therefore the task to create a sun visor that is not just that have adhesive properties of a sun visor according to DE-PS 40 03 399, namely z. B. the possibility of using them outside the vehicle, which also hardly differs from the usual design, de the amount of energy gained per unit of time is much more constant and the Injuries to vehicle occupants in rear-end collisions practically excluded.
This goal is he by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1 enough. Further advantageous details are set out in the subclaims give.
Es Zeigen:The invention is based on the drawings of an embodiment example explained. Show it:

Fig. 1 shows the well-known arrangement of a sun visor 1 in a vehicle. According to the invention, the sun visor 1 is box-shaped, that is to say, on a cup-shaped "box bottom" pointing outward in the direction of travel, the cup-shaped "box lid" pointing inward in the direction of travel is placed, so that a cavity is created between these two parts. It is irrelevant whether the edge of the "Schachtelbo dens" 2a includes the edge of the "Schachtel Dachel" 2 b or vice versa. The connec tion of these two parts 2 a and 2 b should be snap-in, so that a firm, immovable connection is guaranteed, but this may be - for example, to replace components located in the cavity between the bottom 2 a and cover 2 b - without Difficulty can be opened. The bottom 2 a has a stiffening grid 3 , which is made of the same material as the sun visor base 2 a and sun visor cover 2 b, z. B. made of plastic, be and can also be made in one piece with the sun visor base 2 a. The choice of materials and manufacturing processes are left to the specialist.
In the cavity of the sun visor 1 , for example, according to FIGS. 2 and 3, three rows of light-collecting collectors 4 are arranged between the bars of the grid 3 . These collectors - e.g. B. the Fluk® fluorescence collectors from the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft or fluorescent compounds according to EP 00 46 861 B1 - have a size and shape that are determined by the designer based on the respective circumstances. However, they are in any case designed and arranged in such a way that the light strikes their surface facing outward in the direction of travel, is collected inside and is transported to their edges, where it strikes associated solar modules. In order to improve the transported light yield, the surface receiving the light-absorbing surface of the collectors 4 can be given a reflective cover 4 a. In addition, the light-receiving surface of the collectors 4 can be structured so that the total reflection for the light propagating within the collector is largely eliminated. The light converted into electrical energy in the solar modules is directed to at least one energy storage device, from which they have at least one connector (not shown) provided on the sun visor 1, an energy consumer such as, for. B. for a global position system (GPS), for telematics, for switching garage door openers and the like. Of course, there is also the possibility to charge the vehicle battery via such a plug connection.
In order to bring the light to the collectors 4 , the sun visor base 2 a has holes and / or slots which, due to their size and / or their arrangement, allow enough light to pass through to the collectors 4 , but the "normal" appearance of the desired sign Sun visor 1 possible little change, also when it comes to the material. If this sun visor base 2 a in the area of the collectors 4 consists of a film 2 c, which is translucent, the appearance of the sun visor 1 can be deceptively similar to the "normal" design, if necessary, by coloring that does not impede the translucency.
Batteries can be used as energy storage devices, which are arranged in the immediate vicinity of the solar modules and lead to the plug-in connection via a collecting line. B. within the outer region of the sun visor 1, in particular in the sun visor base 2 a, with which the energy-carrying lines of the solar modules are connected and the output of which leads to the plug connection. Instead of at least one rechargeable battery, at least one high-performance capacitor 20 (see FIG. 5) can be provided as the energy store. The arrangement of the solar modules 14 on the edges of the collectors is dependent on their number and size, correspondingly also the number of the associated Energiespei cher; Both the specialist will determine according to the respective circumstances, so that a related illustration in the drawings was omitted.
The energy-carrying lines of the solar modules to the assigned energy store (battery), to the collective store (e.g. to the high-performance capacitor) and / or to the plug connection can be provided on (e.g. as a printed circuit) or in the sun visor cover 2 b, so that only after the installation of the collectors 4 , the solar needles and the energy storage and the assembly of the sun visor base 2 a and sun visor cover 2 b of the sun visor is arranged operable stop. However, an arrangement on the grid 3 is also possible.
There is the possibility of z. B. on a collector 4 a gel in the interior of the vehicle Kosmetikspie 5 to attach, on at least one side mini lamps 6 , z. B. light-emitting diodes, the illumination energy of which is assigned by this collector assigned solar modules and stored in at least one battery. Especially when the cosmetic mirror 5 together with the collector 4 , the ordered solar modules, battery (s) and mini lamps 6 are combined in a frame 7 , these parts as a unit z. B. be arranged removably via a Schnappein direction to take the mirror 5 with you when needed and outside the vehicle - for. B. can also be used as a flashlight. The mirror can be equipped with a hinged cover 8 that can be snapped in and out. For a long-term use of the mirror 5 with its lighting 6 outside the arrangement in the sun visor 1 , a (not shown) plug-in connection can be provided on the mirror frame, which on the one hand is in conductive connection with the energy store of the solar modules of the mirror 5 and on the other hand to the energy store Sun visor 1 , the vehicle or another energy source can be connected.
Fig. 5 shows the general electrical circuit diagram of a sun visor 1 with solar modules or solar cells 14 , M (aximum) P (ower) P (oint) - controller 16 , reverse current protection diode 18 , an electrical energy store, for. B. a high-performance capacitor 20 , a switch 22 , a converter 24 as up / down converter for a DC motor 30 or as an inverter for three-phase and multi-phase systems, LEDs 6 as consumers and with a resistor 28 generally as a load. The respective number of the individual switching elements depends on the amount of energy that can be generated in a single or in several sun visors 1 , and on the type and number of consumers. The person skilled in the art will also provide the type of circuit accordingly, in particular if, for. B. the Kos metikspiegel from the sun visor 1 for use outside the sun visor 1 or even outside the vehicle is provided. A correspondingly expanded circuit diagram is required if, for example, in a similar manner as in the sun visor 1 . B. behind the vehicle headliner 10 (see FIG. 2) light collectors de 4 (not shown) with associated solar modules and memory elements and, if appropriate, also further light-emitting diodes 6 are provided. Such an extension may be necessary if additional units are to be installed in the vehicle, for which the amount of energy available would no longer be sufficient, e.g. B. for an air conditioner, a television, the third brake light in the rear window, etc. Since the solar modules should also be "invisible" on the roof lining 10 , this is in the same way as the sun visor 1 with holes and or slits or with a translucent film to be provided so that light can reach the light-collecting collectors 4 . However, since the incidence of light on the vehicle headliner 10 is lower in comparison to the sun visor 1 , it should primarily be ensured that the largest possible number of sun visors 1 is installed, as is suggested in DE-PS 40 03 399.
