Description
The invention relates to a method for preserving Snow on predetermined areas of a subsurface the preamble of claim 1 and a cooling mat Establishment for the implementation of this procedure after Preamble of claim 8.
A method of this type is known from US 5 230 218. A coolant is used in tubes in indoor areas, which are fixed on an inclined surface a coolant supply line is introduced and via a Coolant return line removed again. On the in This way, the surface is cooled with a snow cannon generated snow applied.
On the other hand, critical areas of outdoor Areas, namely of ski slopes (such as overuse and narrow downhill areas, south slope areas and areas of valley runs), directly covered with artificial snow, so the longest possible ski operation can be ensured. One problem is an extremely high water level need. This is usually for the artificial snow maker required water stored in water reservoirs and with the help of pumps to the individual snow cannons pumped. When melting the so produced Artificial snow creates large amounts of water that the mountain slopes flow down, seep away and thus get lost. On another problem is that when snowing with Artificial snow that damages nature to a significant degree. This is particularly due to the fact that art snow lies loosely on the ground and therefore when Driving is pushed aside so that the ground quickly exposed and therefore damaged. When driving on such partially exposed underground areas there is also the danger that skis may be lifted by skiers chem dimensions are damaged.
The object of the present invention is therefore to to create a method and a cooling mat device, so durable due to the snow in outdoor areas can be made that nature be as little as possible is damaged or even protected.
This task is accomplished by a method with the characteristics of claim 1 and a cooling mat device with solved the features of claim 8.
The main advantage of the present invention is in that by simply laying out cooling mat parts can be reached at desired areas of a ski slope can be the natural underground for art or nature snow is cooled so far that an undesirably fast Melting of natural or artificial snow can be avoided can. Because in this way at the critical points mentioned len in a relatively simple way nature or artificial snow can be prevented from defrosting quickly, can increase Longer ski operation can be ensured. In particular re can also race and downhill tracks for the event of ski races and the like in the Wei according to the invention se be preserved, so that the execution of such Competitions relatively independent of the weather conditions can be ensured. It also guarantees That all skiers during such a competition bes as far as possible, prefix the same conditions the.
The main advantage of the present invention is however, in that with conventional snow cannons falling enormous water consumption because of the preservation of snow can be reduced. Because the related applied with the present invention Cooling mat devices lines with a very small Have diameter, there is only a relatively small cooling funds required.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the inven The coolant used is Gly santin or similar environmentally friendly coolants that preferably have a coloration which, in the case of a Open circuit in the snow indicates the point of interruption shows. Repair can then be done particularly easily Fault location access can be obtained and it can line simply removed from the system by heating and melting be stuck, the function of the entire system in the remains essentially unchanged.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the present cooling mat device tubes with funnel-shaped expansions in which the distance from the underground turned a drill bit of a drill particularly easily device introduced and through the cooling mat device in the substrate is directed so that later through the trich ter-shaped extensions tilt rods insertable and in the Un are attachable.
Further advantages and refinements of the invention go from the subclaims.
The invention and its embodiments are described below explained in connection with the figures.

Fig. 3 bis 5 Weiterbildungen der Erfindung. Fig. 3 to 5 of the invention.
To FIG. 1 Stable ge on the snow is by the inventive process on a natural ground 1, making be a cooling mat device 2 adapted. The subsurface 1 is, for example, a particularly critical, highly stressed point of an alpine descent, the area of a valley descent of a ski area, an alpine downhill or slalom route or the like. The cooling mat device 2 comprises a coolant supply line 21 , a coolant return line 22 and line loops 23 running between them. The coolant supply line 21 is fed by a pump 3 ge, which takes the coolant from a coolant reservoir 5 via a line 4 . From the supply line 21 , the coolant reaches the area 1 to be cooled via the line loops 23 and finally to the coolant return line 22 and from there back into the coolant reservoir 5 (line 7 ). The coolant used is an environmentally compatible coolant, preferably glysantin. Preferably, the coolant reservoir 5 and the pump 4 are housed in a housing 6 or under movable or stationary and the cooling mat device 2 , when it is not needed on the surface 1 , can also be stowed in the housing 6 .
To preserve snow on the substrate 1 , proceed as follows: After the cooling mat 2 has been spread on the substrate 1 , with the help of the pump 3, coolant from the coolant reservoir 5 via the supply line 21 and the return line 22 through the Line loops 23 pumped. In this case, the substrate 1 and its surface are cooled in the area of the cooling mat device 2 , for example to a temperature in the range from -3 ° to -7 ° C. The cooling mat device 2 is iced up due to the ambient air humidity. If artificial or natural snow is now applied to the cooling mat device 2 from above (arrow direction P), this snow will not melt due to the cooling of the substrate 1 and the cooling mat device 2 , so that no melt water is produced, as is the case in the prior art and the ground 1 can be driven on practically as long as the cooling mat device 2 is put into operation. If necessary, deteriorations caused by scraping and moving snow can be compensated for by artificially spraying snow from snow cannons.
In the embodiment of FIG. 1, in which the coolant supply line 21 and the coolant return line 22 run parallel to one another, a particularly uniform cooling of the substrate 1 is achieved because the coolant of the cooled side is returned to the coolant of the inlet side.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, in which the coolant supply line 21 and the coolant return line 22 are spaced apart from one another in accordance with the length of the lines 23 'and run parallel to one another, the coolant device 2 can double the width of the substrate 1 are covered, but it must be accepted that there is a greater heating of the coolant along the lines 23 '.
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the cooling mat device 2 present. Accordingly, on the ground 1 , which may already have a snow pad, a Kühlmat teneinrichtung 2 is arranged, which consists of individual loops 23 , the device with the feed line 21 and the return line 22 are connected. When cooling by the Kühlmat teneinrichtung 2 is formed on the substrate 1 preferably a snow and ice protection layer 8 , which protects the substrate 1 from mechanical damage. Such a snow and ice protection layer 8 also arises on the upper surface of the coolant device 2 . Artificial or natural snow 9 is applied to this protective layer 8 .
In the manner shown in FIG. 2, in the area of the cooling mat device 2 , in order to avoid damage to it, funnel devices 10 can be arranged in the arrangement of the same on the substrate, which lines 23 'through the gaps between the conductor loops 23 and lines 23 ' be performed. These funnel devices 10 have the shape of tubes 101 which have funnel-shaped extensions 102 on their side facing away from the underground 1 . Since the locations of the funnel devices 1 'are known, even in the snowed-in state of the mat devices 2 can be inserted into the extensions 102 from the side facing away from the subsurface 1 and then automatically guided through the pipe 101 into the Bo dengrund 1 , so that 2 holes for fastening tilt rods or the like can be drilled in this without damaging the mat device.
If the lines of the conductor loops 23 of the arrangement of FIG. 1 have a length of six meters, the width of the substrate 1 of six meters can be covered with the arrangement of FIG. 1. If the coolant supply line 21 and the coolant return line 22 are separated from one another in the manner shown in FIG. 3, the width of the substrate 1 can be covered by twelve meters.
The mat device 2 is composed of cooling mat parts and can therefore be of any length, because plug parts 24 are used at the free ends of the coolant supply line 21 and the return line 22 as the end. To extend these plug parts 24 can be removed so that additional cooling mat parts can be connected to the lines 21 and 22 , which in turn, if they are not to be extended, and therefore only represent intermediate parts, are closed by the plug parts 24 .
In connection with FIGS. 4 and 5, which show a longitudinal section or a view of the mat device 2 , a further embodiment is described in which on the mat device 2 knob-like projections 30 , 30 'are arranged, which are arranged from below and / or are connected to the lines 23 or 23 'above. These knob-like projections 30 , 30 ', which protrude downwards or upwards via the lines 23 , 23 ', are preferably open downwards or upwards, so that snow and / or ice can get caught in them. This has the advantage that the snow has an even better grip on the mat device. For this reason, the lines 23 and 23 'are better protected against external influences such as. B. caused by ski edges or Pi stenwalzen protected.
Preferably, the knob-like projections 30 , 30 'in the form of strips, in which the projections 30 , 30 ' are each laterally (in the transverse direction) connected to one another via elements 31 which can be plugged onto the lines 23 , 23 ', in the transverse direction at certain intervals Matteneinrich lines 2 attached. The tapes run in the longitudinal direction of the mat device 2 ( Fig. 5). The elements 31 preferably have the shape of cap parts adapted to the shape of the circular cross sections, which are also circular and can be plugged onto the lines 23 , 23 '. In this way, the bands with the projections 30 , 30 'on the lines 23 , 23 ' are displaceable in the transverse direction of the mat device and can be removed from it at any time. A plurality of cooling mat devices can preferably be connected to one another in the longitudinal direction with such belts.
The lower projections 30 are used as a spacer to the underground and therefore protect the mat device 2 from stones or other objects.
The projections 30 , 30 'can also serve to secure the mat teneinrichtung 2 on the floor, with the upper and lower projections 30 , 30 ' or only through the lower projections 30 holding elements 32 , preferably in the form of nails or thorns in the ground to be driven.
The tapes with the projections 30 and 30 'are preferably made of plastic, which can be reinforced with metal inclusions.
The lower projections 30 and the upper projections 30 'can be fastened to one another by plug connections 33 .
If the lines 23 are laid in loops, the tapes are expediently only attached to one line 23 of a loop, the other line of the loop preferably being inserted into the distance between two adjacent upper projections 30 '.
B. Skischanzen in Fußgängerzonen von Städten, "Half Pipes" am Strand, Iglus in der Wüste u. s. w.).With the present cooling mat devices 2 , a large number of objects can be formed from snow or ice due to their flexibility. In particular, the so-called "half pipes" or similar terrain formations can be formed for snowboarding, as well as ski jumps for trick skiing or ski flying. This creates the best conditions for these sports, even in less favorable regions in a relatively small space. It is also possible to make sculptures and all kinds of objects made of snow or ice durable over a long period of time. This can also be possible in closed rooms or in regions with a warm or hot climate (e.g. ski jumps in pedestrian areas of cities , "Half Pipes" on the beach, igloos in the desert, etc.).
