Abstract

Areas (1) used for riding or temporary car parks, footpaths etc. on open earth and field surfaces are consolidated and drained (2) using a building material (3) comprising a granulate of porous concrete. The concrete is produced from a mixture of 10% quartz sand, more than 10% lime, 1-10% cement, 1-10% natural gypsum, less than 1% aluminium powder and more than 10% water. The mixture is formed as required and allowed to set . Granules are preferably 5 to 15 mm in size and are made from porous concrete waste from the manufacture of porous concrete blocks or slabs.

Description

The invention relates to a building material for fastening and Drainage when creating riding arenas and temporarily laying open spaces such as parking lots, fairgrounds, footpaths and the like on open ground and meadow areas.

Such open spaces should on the one hand be well secured and so that it can be safely walked on and driven on at all times, in particular especially in rainy weather or after heavy rain showers or in the event of a thaw. On the other hand, as a rule also their natural appearance, d. H. open floor space or Meadow, remain intact. To the desired attachment with to achieve simultaneous drainage of such open spaces, it is known to differentiate them with several layers cher materials, such as layers of gravel, sheet ter, sand, earth or the like. In practice it has However, it has been shown that this layer structure at very damp weather still not enough drainage enables so that in particular heavily used areas like riding, parking and fairgrounds after heavy rains are often completely soaked, puddles and mud holes kick and the surfaces are only of limited use. In addition, the previous procedure is complex.

The invention has for its object to a building material with which it is possible to create riding arenas, parking lots, Fairgrounds, footpaths and the like in a simple way make sure that they are always firm and largely dry.

According to the invention, the object is characterized by a granulate Aerated concrete dissolved, the aerated concrete by mixing finely ground quartz sand, lime, cement, natural plaster and Aluminum powder, pasting this mixture with water, For men and subsequent steam curing is produced and with quartz sand, lime and water each in an amount of over 10%, cement and natural gypsum each in an amount of 1 up to 10% and aluminum powder in an amount of less than 1% be used. This has proven to be particularly advantageous Granules with a grain size of 5 to 15 mm have been proven.

The granules of aerated concrete according to the invention have outstanding drainage properties. The granulate is distributed in a single layer on riding arenas, usually 10 to 15 cm thick, over the surface of the open space, if necessary after prior drainage. A layer of a few centimeters is sufficient for temporary measures. Any surface layer for surface fastening can then be applied, depending on the intended use of the open space. A surface created in this way is completely drained after a short time, even with long-lasting and heavy rainfall, and can also be driven on or mounted without any problems. Applying the paved surface is simple and easy to do, because the granulate made of aerated concrete has a low specific weight of around 0.4 kg / dm 3 . It is therefore easy to transport and distribute. Due to its structure, the granulate interlocks with one another so well that it is not necessary to compress the fill. The granulate is therefore particularly well suited for creating open spaces that are required at short notice or only for a single event. It is also particularly advantageous that there are no disposal costs for the used granulate when clearing away. It can be used as pasture or field fertilizer. Any granulate residue left on the open space does not cause any damage and can therefore remain there safely.

The granulate is simple and inexpensive to manufacture position, since it is by grinding aerated concrete material, the in the manufacture of cellular concrete blocks or cellular concrete Plates accumulates, can be won.

The invention is illustrated by an embodiment explained, which is shown in the drawing. The drawing The cross section shows the structure of a riding arena using the granules of pores according to the invention concrete.

In the open space 1 (leveled earth), parallel drainage channels 2, about 10 cm wide and 15 cm deep, are excavated at a distance of 3 to 5 meters in the discharge direction. Then granulate 3 made of aerated concrete is applied to the floor in a layer of approximately 10 to 15 cm, depending on the nature of the floor, and is also filled into the drainage channels 2 . It is not necessary to compact the layer. 4 or sand or polyurethane or another covering material customary for this purpose is then poured onto this layer as the upper layer. The single-layer substructure made of granulate 3 from aerated concrete enables light and complete drainage of the Reitplat zes, so that it can be ridden well and safely even after heavy rains. The upper layer 4 made of sand or polyurethane, together with the substructure, results in an ideal suspension behavior of the riding arena.
