Abstract

A process for fixing a holding element to a laminar glass plate with at least one inner (12) and one outer (10) pane, comprises forming a penetration (18,20) in the two panes. The penetration in the outer pane is larger than that in the inner pane. Once the panes are placed together, a holding element (16) is placed against the inner pane, and adhesive is then introduced between the holding element and the inner pane, as well as in the penetration. The adhesive is pref. PVC or PU.

Description

The invention relates to a method for fastening a holding element to at least one an outer pane and an inner pane having laminated glass pane according to the Preamble of claim 1.

The connection of a holding element or the like to laminated glass panes, as in Vehicle construction are used conventionally by means of screw connections or by means of adhesive (see for example DE 35 09 531 C1). If to attach one Holding element used on a glass pane, falls to the appearance of the Not to affect the pane too much, the adhesive surface often very small (or the parts to be attached to the holding element allow only a small connection area), so that it is with unfavorable types of loads such. B. when peeling forces occur Failure of the glue can come.

On the other hand, screws for attaching the disc to a holding element used, it can loosen especially in laminated glass panes Screw connection come, which is caused by the fact that of the Screw connection on the two clamping forces exerted by the composite a deformation of the thermoplastic arranged between the panes Effect intermediate layer. To overcome this problem, DE 43 11 442 C1 proposed that provided for the passage of the screw connection in the washers Arrange bores eccentrically to each other and close with a hardening adhesive fill to create a non-compressible support body. That from DE 43 11 442 C1 Known fastener has the disadvantage over an adhesive connection that  no flush outer surface of the glass pane can be realized since the screw connection the laminated glass pane penetrates completely and thus the screw head is visible.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of a method for fastening to create a holding element on a laminated glass pane of the type mentioned at the outset,  with which a permanent and reliable connection between a Laminated glass pane and a holding element can be accomplished, however the appearance of the pane is not affected.

This object is achieved in the present invention in that the inner disc and the outer pane are each provided with an opening, the Breakthrough in the outer pane is greater than the breakthrough in the inner pane, and that after assembling the laminated glass pane, the holding element against the inner disc and an adhesive between the holding element and inner disc as well as in the breakthroughs. This results in an adhesive connection that in addition to the adhesive forces causing the adhesion by a positive connection against loosening of the interconnected parts is ensured.

Es zeigt:A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference described in detail on the accompanying drawing. It shows:

Fig. 1 shows a section through a laminated glass pane, to which a holding element is attached by means of the method described here.

The laminated glass pane shown in FIG. 1, for example a side window or a glass cover of a vehicle, has an outer pane 10 and an inner pane 12 . The two panes 10 , 12 are connected to one another by means of a thermoplastic intermediate layer 14 . A holding element 16 is connected to the inner disk 12 by means of an adhesive. In order to secure the adhesive connection against excessive peeling force, as indicated in FIG. 1 by a downward-pointing force arrow F, the inner disk 12 is provided with an opening 18 , and an opening 20 is formed in the outer disk 10 , which is larger than the opening 18 and which is arranged so that it covers the opening 18 . The openings 18 and 20 can be designed, for example, as mutually concentric bores with different diameters. If an adhesive 22 , or PVC or polyurethane, is introduced between the holding element and the inner pane when the holding element is bonded to the laminated glass pane, the adhesive also enters the opening 18 and, via this, the opening 20 . After the adhesive has cured, an adhesive connection is thus created, which is secured against peeling in the direction of arrow F by the part of the connection formed in the larger opening 20 .

In the drawing, the thermoplastic intermediate layer 14 is provided with an opening corresponding to the opening 20 of the outer pane. It goes without saying that it is sufficient for the method described here if the breakthrough in the thermoplastic intermediate layer 14 is carried out in accordance with the breakthrough 18 in the inner pane 12 .
