Abstract

The method involves using a monochrome laser. The laser scans the three-dimensional surface structure of three-dimensional elements that are still standing. The co-ordinates determined by scanning the surface are then stored. The scanning can be carried out using a scanning arrangement, deflecting the laser beam by a revolving mirror. Corresponding piece parts are cast or produced directly by milling using a CNC negative with the help of the three-dimensional co-ordinates obtained by scanning with the laser.
