Description
The invention relates to a method for measuring thermal conductivity ability of adhesive bonds between parts to be joined.
In process plants, cooling and heating units as well as for components for cooling motors or electronic Attachment is often on when the components are connected to ensure good heat transfer. Unlike many classic joining processes, such as soldering, welding, Screwing or riveting, which is usually good heat conduction enable, glue connections have a significantly lower Thermal conductivity. At such joints it can be too an isolating effect. This isolator effect has an influence on the performance of the apparatus or on the Heating and cooling behavior of system parts. To the glue technology with its specific advantages in the future too reinforced for connections in such applications To be able to use, the thermal conductivity of the adhesives among other things through the targeted addition of suitable fillers increased. On the other hand, the fillers also influence the thermal and electrical conductivity, in particular also the strength and aging behavior of adhesive bindings with modified adhesives. It should be noted, that glued components with high demands on thermal conductivity ability to increase at the same time Temperature stress, in particular temperature change stress and possibly exposed to aggressive media are.
For an effective construction of such temperature it is critical equipment using glued joints therefore it is necessary that the designer especially the thermal conductivity of the one to be used Knows glued connections. Here is also the knowledge of Change in thermal conductivity with absolute temperature in the largest possible temperature range, e.g. B. between -100 ° C to + 150 ° C, required.
The article "Measurement of heat and temperature conductivity of plastics "by Wolfgang Dietz (Technical Messen atm, 1976, Issue 4, pp. 123-126 and Issue 5, pp. 153- 158) give a general overview of the various Theories for measuring the thermal and thermal conductivity of Plastic films as well as various experimental Superstructures.
In the article "Influence of surface quality on the Heat transfer through thermally conductive adhesive layers "from L. Dorn, S. Jafari and D. Purbst (DVS 129 (1990), pp. 116 to 119) is already a process for measuring thermal conductivity described by adhesive connections between joining parts. Here a Pt-100 resistor is applied to an adhesive layer Copper cuboid glued. This copper cuboid will turn on a cooled base plate made of copper glued. The Pt-100 Resistance serves both as a heat generator and as Measuring sensor for the temperature. For a single measurement then the resistance with electrical for a predetermined time Energized. After some time it turns out the one running from the resistor to the cooled base plate Heat flow in the sample a constant temperature gradient on d. H. the temperature on the Pt-100 no longer changes. From the Temperature difference of the resistance before and after heating as well as from the heating power determined during the test then the thermal resistance and thus also the Calculate the thermal conductivity of the entire composite sample. A disadvantage of this method is that only the thermal resistance or the thermal conductivity of the sample measured as a whole and not the individual adhesive layers can be. It is also disadvantageous that the measurement only at a fixed, predetermined temperature.
In Rev. Sci. Instrum. In Rev. Sci. Instrument. 53 (6), June 1982, pp. 884-887 Method for rapid measurement of thermal conductivity of PMMA, PS and Mylar films with layer thicknesses between 12 µm and 127 µm. This is a "dynamic" measuring method in which the preparation to be measured is placed in the form of a foil on an aluminum body, which is kept at a constant temperature by means of a heater and a second aluminum body, which at the beginning the measurement has room temperature, is applied. The Conductivity essentially depends on the length of time determined that the second aluminum body needed to its Increase temperature to a certain value.
From the articles "Thermal conductivity of polyvinyl chloride with and without plasticizers in the temperature range of 70 to 360 K "from Th. Gast, K.-H. Hellwege and E. Kohlhepp (colloid journal, Volume 152 (1957), pp. 24 to 31) and "Quasi-stationary measurement of the Thermal conductivity of plastics in the temperature range from -180 ° C to + 90 ° C "by K. Eiermann, K.-H. Hellwege and W. Knappe (Kolloid-Zeitschrift, Volume 174 (1960), pp. 134 to 142) is a Process known, in which the thermal conductivity of plastics, in particular PVC films, is measured by two plastic films in a symmetrical arrangement between a common middle and two outside Copper blocks are clamped and the entire sample structure from the outer faces of the outer copper blocks Heating plates is heated. It will then be the temperature in the Middle of the middle copper block and in the outer Copper parts measured as close as possible to the plastic foils. At the Care is taken to ensure that the specimen Temperature gradient from the outer end faces to the median plane the sample remains constant, d. H. that the temperature difference between the outer measuring points and the middle measuring point remains constant. With this so-called "quasi-stationary" Measuring methods can be determined from the heating power and the Absolute temperatures in the sample, or from the Absolute temperature in the center of the sample and the Temperature differences to the measuring points in the Sample outer parts, the thermal resistance or the Determine thermal conductivity between the measuring points. Since the The thermal resistance of the copper is very low and the thermal resistance was relative to the plastics measured in these experiments is high, corresponds to the measured thermal conductivity approximately the thermal conductivity of the plastic films. When using other plastics with relatively high Thermal conductivity and sample materials with less Thermal conductivity as z. B. copper is this measurement method no longer suitable.
The object of the invention is a method for measuring the Thermal conductivity of adhesive bonds between parts to be joined to develop in such a way as in the previous one mentioned methods for measuring the thermal conductivity in Plastics within a measurement the thermal conductivity in Dependence on the absolute temperature in the adhesive layer over the largest possible temperature range as precisely as possible can be determined for the respective adhesive connection. This The object is achieved by a method according to claim 1.
In the method according to the invention, the test specimen is passed one sample center and two on two opposite arranged parallel end faces of the sample middle part Sample outer parts. Sample middle part and sample outer parts are made from the materials of the parts to be tested and over an adhesive layer of a defined thickness to be tested connected with each other. The sample center is relative thick and serves as a heat store. The sample outer parts are relatively thin and plate-shaped. The whole construction should be constructed symmetrically with respect to the sample center plane. This test specimen is, as with the one mentioned at the beginning Methods for measuring thermal conductivity in plastics, of two on the outer end faces of the sample outer parts adjacent heating elements heated, the heat loss be minimized in the specimen environment and an in Specimen longitudinal direction from the outer end faces of the Sample outer parts for parallel, in the middle between end faces horizontal sample center plane of the heat accumulator, constant temperature gradient is maintained. Since the Specimen is heated from both faces, takes the Temperature in layers continuously from outside to inside.
The lowest temperature point is the sample center plane. With appropriate regulation of the heating, it is already possible after a short time a constant temperature gradient reach and hold. The temperature of the heat storage is measured continuously or at intervals and off the temporal rise in the temperature of the heat accumulator, the Temperature gradients, from the geometric dimensions of the Adhesive layers and the mass and heat capacity of the Heat storage becomes dependent on the thermal conductivity the temperature determined. Because that serves as heat storage Sample middle part is continuously heated, d. H. the Heat flow is not stationary and the temperature decreases constant temperature gradient can change constantly Contrary to the above-mentioned method for measuring the Conductivity in adhesive layers with a single measurement Thermal conductivity of the respective sample in one Temperature interval can be determined continuously. The Depending on the thermal conductivity of the Adhesive connection, for a temperature interval of 200 K only approx. be two to eight hours.
By using the parts to be inspected for the production of sample parts as well as by direct Connection by gluing the sample parts is a very accurate one Determination of the adhesive bond between the given Joined parts possible, with the effects on the Boundary layers between the adhesive and the surface of the part to be joined be taken into account. Through the direct connection of the Sample parts by gluing also eliminate the use of liquid or gaseous contact media to the Adhesive layer surfaces, so that easy evacuation of the Apparatus to avoid heat loss through convection is possible.
The sub-claims contain particularly advantageous Refinements and developments of the invention Procedure.
jeweils zwei benachbarten voneinander in Probenkörperlängs

The temperature is preferably measured at at least one measuring point in the outer parts of the sample and at least in the sample center plane and these measured values are used as control parameters for controlling the heating elements, the temperature differences between two adjacent measuring points spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the specimen being kept almost constant during heating . The thermal conductivity λ K (T) of the adhesive bond as a function of the temperature T can then be determined from the mass m S and the temperature-dependent heat capacity c S (T) of the heat accumulator, from the thicknesses d 1 and d 2 of the adhesive layers, from the end face A. the heat accumulator or the adhesive layers or the sample outer parts, from the temperature T 1 in the sample medium level, the temperatures T 2 and T 3 in the sample outer parts and from the increase in temperature ΔT 1 in the sample medium level within a time interval Δt according to the formula

A temperature averaged locally between the temperature T 1 and the temperatures T 2 or T 3 and temporally in the evaluation interval ΔT 1 or Δt is assumed as the temperature T in the adhesive layer.

In formula (1), the individual thicknesses d 1 and d 2 of the sample body are used to calculate the thermal conductivity λ k (T) despite the symmetrical structure of the sample body, since the tolerance in the production of the adhesive layers, in contrast to the tolerance in the production of the Joined parts is still relatively large. On the other hand, these parameters can be determined extremely precisely by measurement on the finished sample part, so that an averaging over both adhesive layer thicknesses is possible in the formula.

It is particularly advantageous if in order to calculate the thermal conductivity λ k (T) of the adhesive layers and to determine the spatially and temporally averaged temperature T in the adhesive layers instead of the temperature difference sum ΔT p between the sample medium level and the sample outer parts by a correction term which is the temperature drop taken into account in the heat accumulator and the outer part of the sample, corrected temperature value ΔT Corr according to

is used. s 2 is the distance between the measuring point in the outer part of the sample and the associated adhesive layer. This correction term is obtained by relatively complex calculations from the general Fourier differential equations, which, given the constraints that firstly there is a one-dimensional heat flow in the longitudinal direction of the sample, secondly that there are no heat sources in the sample, thirdly the thermal conductivity of the heat accumulator and the outer parts of the sample have no functions Fourth, and fourth, the thermal conductivity of the adhesive layer is not a function of the place, as follows
Geht man
weiterhin von einem konstanten Temperaturgradienten aus, und
integriert die Gleichung (6) zweifach, so erhält man die
Gleichungen
Here T is generally the temperature a the temperature control number and x the variable for the location in the longitudinal direction of the sample. If one continues to assume a constant temperature gradient and integrates equation (6) twice, the equations are obtained
C 1 and C 2 are integration constants and are different for the heat storage, the adhesive layers and the external sample parts. These integration constants are obtained in part by choosing the appropriate boundary and coupling conditions at the respective measuring points or boundary points between the individual layers. The equation with the desired correction term finally results from the solution of the coupled differential equations.
When using this correction term, it is also possible to To test adhesive bonds where the thermal conductivity of the adhesive is relatively high and the thermal conductivity of the Joined parts is relatively low.
Alternatively, it is of course also possible to determine the temperature gradient within the heat store for correction by measuring the temperature T 1 in the sample medium plane and at at least one further measuring point in the heat store at a small distance from at least one of the adhesive layers. However, this requires a larger measurement effort.
A suitable choice of the dimensions of the heat accumulator and the adhesive layer should ensure that the ratio of the product of the mass m K and the specific heat capacity c K of the two adhesive layers to the product of the mass m S and the specific heat capacity c S of the heat accumulator is as low as possible is. A value of 0.04 should not be exceeded here. Only in this case can the heat capacity of the adhesive layers be neglected. If this is not possible due to the specified materials, the determined thermal conductivities λ k (T) must be corrected by multiplying by the correction value
Care must also be taken to ensure that the thicknesses d 1 and d 2 of the adhesive layers do not change by more than 1% as a result of the thermal expansion. Otherwise the measured thickness value has to be corrected.
It is also possible that the sample center part itself consists of three layers, the two outer layers plate-shaped from the materials to be joined are made and the middle layer as heat storage a material with high thermal conductivity, e.g. B. copper, is made. This is especially necessary if one Investigation of adhesive bonds between such parts is to be carried out in which the joining material is not in to produce a sufficiently thick heat accumulator required strength are available. In this case however, the thermal conductivity of the joined connection as whole and not the thermal conductivity of the adhesive layer determined. In this respect, the method is particularly suitable for comparative measurements between adhesive bonds from similar joining parts or z. B. for random samples Quality controls of the adhesive where it is not on the Determination of absolute values arrives.
Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide a method for Production of a test specimen for use in the Invention to create appropriate procedures. This is particularly important to ensure that the adhesive layers are as exact as possible have a predetermined thickness.
This object is achieved by a method according to claim 15 solved.
The subclaims contain particularly advantageous further formations of the procedure.
Es stellen dar:The invention is described below with reference to the beige added drawings based on exemplary embodiments explained. They represent:

Ebenso befinden sich in den plattenförmigen Probenaußenteilen (2, 3) nahe der jeweiligen Klebschicht (4, 5) weitere Thermoelemente (TE2, TE3) (siehe Fig. 3).In the inventive method for measuring the thermal conductivity capacity, a specimen (10) is initially consisting of a block-shaped samples central part (1) which serves as a heat store (1), and two on two opposite parallel end sides of the sample central portion (1) via a respective test Adhesive layer ( 4 , 5 ) of a defined thickness d 1 and d 2 with the sample middle part ( 1 ) glued plate-shaped sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ). The sample middle part ( 1 ) and the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) are made of materials that correspond to the parts to be joined. The entire structure is symmetrical to the sample center plane (ME) of the heat accumulator ( 1 ), which lies parallel in the center between the end faces ( 1 S). A first temperature measuring point (TE1) is located on one side of the sample body ( 10 ) at the level of the central plane (ME) in the center of the sample center part ( 1 ). This is a conventional thermocouple (TE1), which is inserted as deep as possible into a heat hole ( 1 ) in an existing hole. Likewise, there are further thermocouples (TE2, TE3) in the plate-shaped outer sample parts ( 2 , 3 ) near the respective adhesive layer ( 4 , 5 ) (see FIG. 3).
As shown in Fig. 2, there are congruent on the end faces ( 2 S, 3 S) heating plates ( 6 ). These heating plates ( 6 ) are pressed against the end faces ( 2 S, 3 S) of the outer sample parts ( 2 , 3 ) with a defined force by means of pressure plates ( 7 , 8 ). The pressure plates ( 7 , 8 ) each have a depression in the direction of the heating plates ( 6 ), which receives the respective heating plate ( 6 ) and the respective end ( 2 E, 3 E) of the sample body ( 10 ), so that the pressure plates ( 7 , 8 ) at least partially enclose the edge ( 6 R) of the heating plates ( 6 ) and in each case the front end region ( 2 E, 3 E) of the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) laterally. As a result, the heating plate ( 6 ) is simultaneously centered on the respective outer sample part ( 2 , 3 ) and the sample body ( 10 ) is secured against lateral displacement between the pressure plates ( 7 , 8 ).
The pressure plates ( 7 , 8 ) with the heating plates ( 6 ) and the specimen ( 10 ) are held in a support frame ( 9 ) by means of bolts ( 11 , 12 ). One of the two pressure plates ( 7 ) (the upper pressure plate in FIG. 2) is guided over two guide bolts ( 12 ) which are arranged in a fixed manner on the support frame ( 9 ) and extend in the longitudinal direction of the specimen and are held in a longitudinally displaceable manner. For this purpose there are two holes in the upper free end face ( 7 S) of the pressure plate ( 7 ) into which the guide bolts ( 12 ) engage. Between the upper end face ( 7 S) of the pressure plate ( 7 ) and the support frame ( 9 ) extend helically around the guide pin ( 12 ) in the longitudinal direction of the pin pressure springs ( 13 ). The other pressure plate ( 8 ) (the lower pressure plate in FIG. 2) is connected in the middle to the end of a pressure pin ( 11 ) running in the longitudinal direction of the specimen. This pressure bolt ( 11 ) is adjustable and fixable on the support frame ( 9 ) in the longitudinal direction of the bolt. In the present exemplary embodiment, the pressure pin ( 11 ) is a threaded spindle ( 11 ) which has at its pressure plate end an annular, radially outwardly extending web ( 11 a) with which the pin is secured via a securing plate ( 11 b) is releasably clamped to the pressure plate ( 8 ). The threaded spindle ( 11 ) is thus fixed in the pressure plate ( 8 ) in the longitudinal direction of the specimen, but can be rotated about its own axis. In the support frame ( 9 ) there is a bore ( 9 b) with a corresponding thread coaxial with the threaded spindle ( 11 ), in which the spindle is mounted. By turning the threaded spindle ( 11 ), the position of the threaded spindle ( 11 ) in the support frame ( 9 ) and thus the pressure on the pressure plate ( 8 ) or over the entire specimen ( 10 ) on the pressure plate ( 7 ) against the springs ( 13 ) can be set. With a known spring constant and a known path, an exact determination of the pressure force is possible. The spindle is fixed in the set position using a lock nut.
Due to the direct connection of the sample parts ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) by gluing with the adhesive ( 60 ) to be examined, the pressure force to be applied by the clamping device only serves to ensure the contact between the heating plates ( 6 ) and the sample body ( 10 ). With precise machining of the contact surfaces, a low pressure force is sufficient for this. The contact between adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) and sample parts ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) is ensured by the adhesive. A higher pressure force to compensate for irregularities between the sample parts ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) and the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ), as occurs, for example, when the cured in analogy to the method described above for measuring the thermal conductivity of PVC films Glue as a film or plate between the sample parts ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) is not necessary. The adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) are therefore only weakly mechanically loaded and in particular compression, ie a reduction in the layer thicknesses d 1 and d 2 , is avoided.
The entire support frame ( 9 ) is suspended in a measuring chamber ( 20 ) by means of suspension elements ( 14 , 15 ). These suspension elements ( 14 , 15 ) should have the highest possible heat conduction resistance, ie should also be made as thin as possible, so that the heat losses via the suspension ( 14 , 15 ) from the support frame ( 9 ) to the measuring chamber ( 20 ) are minimized. In the present exemplary embodiment, the measuring chamber ( 20 ) consists of a cylindrical container ( 20 ) which is open on the top. At the upper open end there is an annular flange ( 21 ). The container ( 20 ) is sealed airtight by a corresponding cover flange ( 22 ) with a socket ( 23 ), for connecting an evacuation line ( 28 ) and for carrying out measuring cables, by inserting a seal ( 25 ). During the measurement, the entire measuring chamber ( 20 ) is evacuated to prevent heat loss by convection into the surroundings of the specimen.
As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the sample body (10) is surrounded on the shell side along with the carrier frame (9) of a cylindrical extending in the longitudinal direction specimen heating jacket (17). This is shown in Fig. 1 and 2 also suspended on suspension elements (16, 14) in the measuring chamber (20). The heating jacket ( 17 ) is spaced from the sample body ( 10 ) and from the support frame ( 9 ). This heating jacket ( 17 ) is heated together with the sample body ( 10 ) as counter-heating and is kept at approximately the same temperature with it in order to minimize the radiation losses. In one embodiment, not shown, the heating jacket ( 17 ) is coupled to the support frame ( 9 ) by compensating pieces with the highest possible thermal conductivity, so that the support frame ( 9 ) is directly heated by the heating jacket ( 17 ), and thus a lower heating energy the heating plates ( 6 ) of the test set-up is removed.
To lower the outside temperature below the lowest measuring temperature, the measuring chamber ( 20 ) is suspended in a Dewar flask ( 29 ) which is filled with coolant such as. B. liquid nitrogen or the like can be filled. This dewar ( 29 ) is located in a further, outer chamber ( 30 ), which is also sealed on the top by a lid ( 31 ). On the one hand, the connecting piece ( 23 ) leading to the measuring chamber ( 20 ) is inserted continuously in the cover ( 31 ). On the other hand, there are two further nozzles ( 32 , 33 ) on the cover ( 31 ), one nozzle ( 32 ) for filling with the coolant and the other nozzle ( 33 ) can be provided with a pressure relief valve. An evacuation line ( 28 ) and a blind flange ( 27 ) with a bushing ( 26 ) for the heating supply lines and measuring lines are connected to the outside of the connecting piece ( 23 ) leading to the measuring chamber ( 20 ) via a T-piece.
To carry out a measurement, the dewar ( 29 ) is first filled with an appropriate coolant, such as liquid nitrogen, oxygen or the like, in order to cool the apparatus with the sample body ( 10 ) to at least 10 K below the lowest temperature value of the measuring range. The measuring chamber ( 20 ) is then evacuated to a pressure below 5.10 -3 mbar and the temperature equalization in the sample body ( 10 ) is awaited. The temperature at the measuring points (TE1, TE2, TE3) should match up to 0.05 K. The heating plates ( 6 ) are then switched on and the specimen ( 10 ) is heated from the outside inwards. The temperature T 1 in the central plane (ME) of the heat accumulator ( 1 ) is measured continuously or at short time intervals. In addition, the respective temperature difference between the T 2 and T 3 at the measuring points (TE2, TE3) in the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) to the temperature T 1 at the measuring point (TE1) in the central plane (ME) of the heat accumulator ( 1 ) is registered . The heating rate can be varied by switching the heating plates ( 6 ) on and off. The measured temperature difference values (T 2 - T 1 ) or (T 3 - T 1 ) are used as control parameters for controlling the heating elements ( 6 ). The heating power is chosen so that the temperature differences (T 2 - T 1 ) = (T 3 - T 1 ) = 1 K to 1.5 K at a heating rate of 0.01 K / s to 0.5 K / s be. These temperature differences, ie the temperature gradient, are to be kept constant during the measurement, so that the conditions for a "quasi-stationary" measuring method are observed. Of course, this stable temperature gradient is only established after a certain lead time.
Simultaneously with the heating, the counter heating, ie the outer heating jacket ( 17 ), is heated, the temperature of the counter heating should correspond approximately to the temperature T 1 in the sample medium plane (ME) ± 2 K.
The temperature T 1 in the sample middle plane (ME) and the temperatures T 2 and T 3 in the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) or the difference temperatures between the temperature T 1 in the sample middle plane and the outside temperatures T 1 and T 2 are during the entire measurement as a function of time.
The thermal conductivity λ k (T) in the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) can then be calculated using the following formula:

The test specimens ( 10 ) must be manufactured with the greatest accuracy, so that a high reproducibility of the measurement results is guaranteed. The inner end faces of the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) and the end faces ( 1 S) of the sample middle part ( 1 ) must have exactly the specified surface roughness (of the parts to be joined) and be machined plane-parallel to 0.01 mm. A particular problem is the creation of the precisely defined plane-parallel adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) when examining pasty adhesives ( 60 ). The thicknesses d 1 and d 2 and the density of the individual hardened adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) must not deviate by more than 2% from the arithmetic mean of both layers ( 4 , 5 ).
In the manufacturing method according to the invention it is therefore proposed that, in a first process step, a block-shaped raw sample middle part and two plate-shaped raw sample outer parts are manufactured from the materials corresponding to the joining parts, the edge length or the diameter of the components being a predetermined length, e.g. B. 5 to 10 mm, larger than the desired edge length (D P ) or the diameter of the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) of the finished sample body ( 10 ). The thickness of the raw sample middle part ( 55 ) should be chosen from the desired thickness of the finished sample middle part ( 1 ) plus the desired thicknesses d 1 and d 2 of the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ). The thickness of the raw sample outer parts ( 52 , 53 ) can correspond to the desired final dimension.
In a second process step, the end faces ( 51 S) of the raw sample middle part ( 51 ) to be bonded are each provided with a depression ( 55 ) corresponding to the desired thickness of the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) with base areas ( 56 ) lying plane-parallel to one another within a circumferential web-shaped Provide edge ( 57 ). The edge length or the diameter of the recess ( 55 ) should be greater than or at least equal to the desired edge length (D P ) of the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) of the finished sample body ( 10 ). Alternatively, it is also possible, instead of the recess ( 55 ) with a peripheral edge ( 57 ), in each of the two end faces ( 51 S) of the raw sample middle part ( 51 ), a groove ( 55 ) extending over the entire end face ( 51 S) ) while leaving side webs ( 57 ) as edge edges ( 57 ).
In a third process step, the base surfaces ( 56 ) of the depressions or grooves ( 55 ) of the raw sample middle part ( 51 ) and the end faces ( 52 S, 53 S) of the raw sample outer parts ( 52 , 53 ) serving as adhesive surfaces are cleaned and then the depressions ( 55 ) or grooves ( 55 ) in the raw sample part ( 51 ) are filled with the adhesive ( 60 ) to be examined. The raw sample outer parts ( 52 , 53 ) are then congruent on the depressions or grooves ( 55 ) with the adhesive ( 60 ) and the peripheral edges ( 57 ) or webs ( 57 ) until the end faces ( 52 S, 53 S) of the raw sample outer part ( 52 , 53 ) with the end face ( 57 S) of the peripheral edge ( 57 ) or the webs ( 57 ). For this purpose, it makes sense for a depression ( 55 ) with a peripheral edge ( 57 ) if these are interrupted at various points with the formation of drainage channels for the adhesive ( 60 ).
In a last process step, after the adhesive has hardened, the sample body ( 10 ) is brought to the desired edge length (D P ) or the desired diameter, ie the sample is z. B. milled to the final dimension. Please note that there is no direct contact between the outer part of the specimen and the heat accumulator ( 1 ), i.e. that at least as much material is removed from all outer surfaces of the specimen ( 10 ) that the peripheral edge ( 57 ) or the webs ( 57 ) are completely removed. Furthermore, it must be ensured that the adhesive connection is not mechanically or thermally damaged by the milling process.
Of course, instead of pasty adhesives Examination of adhesives in foil form is also possible, which are placed between the sample parts and then the adhesive connection is produced by means of pressure and / or heat becomes.
In the present exemplary embodiments, the specimen ( 10 ) has a square base area A with an edge length (D P ) between 40 mm and 60 mm. The edge length (D P ) is expediently chosen in accordance with the associated dimension of the heating plates ( 6 ). The thickness of the heat accumulator (sample center part) ( 1 ) is then z. B. 30 mm to 60 mm, the thickness of the sample outer parts ( 2 , 3 ) 5 mm to 10 mm. The thickness of the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ) should preferably be more than 0.1 mm.
Then the bores at the measuring points (TE1, TE2, TE3) are made in the finished sample body ( 10 ). These holes should preferably extend into the center of the specimen ( 10 ) and have a diameter corresponding to the temperature sensors. The temperature measuring points (TE2, TE3) in the outer parts of the sample ( 2 , 3 ) should be as close as possible to the interfaces to the adhesive layers ( 4 , 5 ), preferably s 2 ≦ 2 mm.
