Die Herstellung dieser Transportkästen aus zwei im Spritzgußverfahren hergestellten Bauteilen erfolgt dadurch, daß die freien Stirnseiten der Rippen beider Bauteile erhitzt werden, bis sie in einen fast fließfähigen plastischen Zustand gekommen sind und daß die se beiden Bauteile anschließend in diesem eben beschrie benen Zustand so gegeneinander gedrückt werden, daß die Stirnseiten der Rippen miteinander verschweißen. Bei die sem gleichzeitigen Preß- und Schweißvorgang bilden sich beidseitig der miteinander verbundenen Rippen Wülste, wie man sie auch sonst von Schweißnähten kennt. Bis auf die äußere umlaufende Rippe liegen diese Schweißwülste im Inneren des doppelten Bodens und stören dort nicht.
