Description
The invention relates to an endotracheal cannula with a Outer cannula tube, one inside the outer cannula tube arranged cannula inner tube and on the exotracheal Ends of the outer cannula tube and inner cannula tube elements for carrying the endotracheal cannula on the neck of the patient (holding element) and to Attachment of the inner cannula tube in the outer cannula tube (Adapter element).
Endotracheal cannulas according to the preamble of claim 1 are sufficient (US Pat. No. 3,334,631, DE 38 13 705 A1, CH-PS 581 464, WO 93/23103, DE 26 01 623). they consist of various materials, mainly metals and made of plastics. They are known in all and in the common designs are in two parts and exist from an outer cannula tube with a flange or shield as a support and an inner cannula tube with a flange as a securing element. With the replacement of the shield as Edition WO 93/23103 proposes the introduction of a annular element in front.
Crucial disadvantage of the known endotracheal cannulas is that the surfaces of the devices on the exotracheal tube ends irregular, interrupted, stepped and even with metal endotracheal cannulas are arranged in an industrial manner. This for everyone common endotracheal cannula applicable phenotype yourself u. a. of small handles (DE 26 01 623) and pins, lip-like extensions and bends on the Flanges, breakouts bent up to eyelets (e.g. on Shield of known metal cannulas) or of additional ones Holding devices on the front of the flange on Cannula inner tube. The endotracheal cannula from the US Pat. No. 3,334,631 has with its "flange edge" on the "inner tube" (p. 2, lines 43-50) not one overlooking stem. All known endotracheal cannulas What is common in this point is that the stems Level of the device for resting on the neck sometimes greatly exceed.
These, in some cases, pronounced exceedances pose a clear aesthetic-psychological problem in the sense that the patient is not just under suffers sufficiently from the disease and its consequences, but he also doesn't go beyond that just graceful appearance of the current Endotracheal cannulae are additionally stigmatized.
Durch die niveauüberschreitenden Vorbauten am exotrachealen Ende der bekannten Endotrachealkanülen in ihrer aktuellen Gestaltung besteht zweifelsohne auch eine nicht zu unterschätzende Verletzungsgefahr durch Druck, Schlag oder Zug.Due to the cross-level stems on exotracheal end of the known endotracheal cannulae in their current design undoubtedly also has one Risk of injury from pressure that should not be underestimated Blow or pull.
It should also be noted that the endotracheal cannulas, especially made of metal, not least because of the comparatively voluminous devices on the exotracheal tube ends, have a high weight, which in turn is a latent danger to the windpipe and its top margin, the stoma and its surroundings represents. The introduction of the circlip according to WO 93/23103 (p. 4, lines 3-10) is probably due to its own weight a completely metal endotracheal cannula to change.
A disadvantage of conventional endotracheal cannulas also the deficiency occurring with the time of wearing Handling security. This occurs in that the two-part system of conventional endotracheal cannulas e.g. B. to fix the Cannula inner tube in the outer cannula tube additional Installations can be found. This is it for metal cannulas around pivot bolts (WO 93/23103) or Swivel flag, from the endotracheal cannula These are usually two firmly attached to the plastic Plastic flange attached to the outer cannula tube Brackets behind which the flange of the Cannula inner tube when pushing both tubes together snaps into place. These additional devices are the ones Weak points of any conventional endotracheal cannula, because they quickly and heavily wear out the pivot bolts turn over and break off, the same happens with the attacks on the Plastic cannulas.
It's easy to imagine that the manufacturing costs, and thus the price for the known endotracheal cannulas are high because the design of the front surfaces of the Fixtures on the exotracheal tube ends delicate skills of special experts ahead. It must cut, milled, bent, punched, flanged, soldered and, last but not least, plastic glued.
Last but not least, both are known Endotracheal cannulas that are medically disadvantageous necessary and therefore reliable cleaning because of Projections, openings, slots, pivot bolts flags, rivets, handles, rear handles on the Devices of the exotracheal tube ends regularly Represents problem. Here will always be Form impurity and pathogen nests and despite Attempted cleaning and measures to a certain extent stop there too.
The invention is therefore based on the object initially mentioned and described in more detail above Specify endotracheal cannula in terms of their Cleaning function is optimized, risk of injury for excludes the trachea, the stoma and its surroundings and has an appealing aesthetic appearance.
This task is performed with an endotracheal cannula according to the Preamble of claim 1 solved in that the outer Surfaces of the devices at the exotracheal ends the cannula tubes in the assembled state without project protruding parts flush into each other. By these endotracheal cannulas according to the invention are all reliably avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and Demands on hygiene, safety and aesthetics fully Fulfills. The viewer also has a picture of Cleanliness and regularity, which is not a part of Auxiliary device, but rather to a piece of jewelry remind.
Finally, another teaching of the invention provides that with functional endotracheal cannula Adapter element at the exotracheal end of the Cannula inner tube with the holding element on the exotracheal End of the outer cannula tube is detachably connected. Means The removal of the inner cannula can be locked from the outer cannula by means of a natural movement by pressing the thumb and index finger, i.e. the Unlock on the side and no longer in the air flow.
In der Zeichnung zeigt The invention is based on a Exemplary embodiment drawing closer explained. In the drawing shows
Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemäße Endotrachealkanüle in Seitenansicht und Fig. 1 is an endotracheal cannula according to the invention in side view and
Fig. 2 die Endotrachealkanüle aus Fig. 1 in Draufsicht. Fig. 2 shows the endotracheal cannula from Fig. 1 in plan view.
In Figs. 1 and 2, an endotracheal tube according to the invention is illustrated in principle in a side view and in plan view. An outer cannula 1 , which has a holding element 3 at its exotracheal end for carrying, is used to introduce it into a trachea, not shown. An adapter element 4 , which is arranged at the end of the inner cannula and is fastened to the holding element 3 with locking elements 5 , of which only one can be seen in FIG. 2, is used to fasten the inner cannula, not shown in this figure, to the outer cannula 1 . The holding element 3 is fastened to the neck of the tracheotomized patient, not shown, with a band B, which is only indicated. In the illustrated and in this respect preferred exemplary embodiment, it is an embodiment as a speaking cannula, therefore, openings 6 are provided at the upper end of the outer cannula 1 , through which air is fed into the still existing connection to the larynx when the patient exhales. The adapter element 4 in FIG. 1 also has a speech clip 9 . However, the idea of the invention can also be realized with ordinary endotracheal cannulas.
According to the invention, the outer surfaces of the elements 3 , 4 merge flush with one another at the exotracheal ends of the cannula tubes 1 in the assembled state without projecting parts. This fulfills all requirements in terms of hygiene, aesthetics and safety.
Based on the figures, it is also quickly apparent that a slight pressure of the thumb and index finger on the locking elements 5 outside the breathing air flow is sufficient to pull the inner cannula, not shown, out of the outer cannula 1 with the aid of the adapter element 4 .
