Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device according to the Preamble of claim 1 for language support from Respiratory patients. It is known that respiratory patients only by manually closing an opening on the Respiratory cannula, which is inserted into the trachea, leading to the Speak necessary air. In most cases it is a Respiratory patient so paraplegic that he cannot operate the cannula itself. This requires one additional person to whom the respiratory patient consequently is instructed. It also dries the throat of the Respiratory patients very quickly, so that only a short one Speaking is made possible.
The object of the invention is to make the patient independent and enable ongoing speaking.
This task is performed by the device with the characteristics of Claim 1 solved. Despite his paralysis, the user can operate the device automatically (without external influence) The device itself then works fully automatically. Besides, will effectively prevents the throat from drying out.
The user thus experiences a significant increase in Quality of life by not only briefly describing its basic needs can express, but also in discussions and discussions can actively participate. This represents the paralyzed man being ventilated an important basic requirement, despite the extreme physical difficulties to pursue employment.
Another advantage is that the device can be connected to a battery can be used mobile. The disabled is therefore not tied to external power sources. Furthermore claims the compact design in connection with the location-independent operation of the device a minimal Space requirements and thus also simplifies use electric wheelchairs.
The invention can be expanded via interfaces to thus additional control functions such. B. monitoring the state of charge of the battery for the ventilator or the electric wheelchair, or to get additional Mechanisms such as blood pressure measurement in specified To allow time intervals.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel ist nachfolgend beschrieben. An embodiment is described below.
Air is sucked in from the environment by means of compressors passed through cleaning filters and an air humidification system. Then the cleaned and humidified air comes on one Hose connection on the front. Here is about one Hose connected the device to the ventilation cannula. To the Connection of the device is therefore no additional intervention in the respiratory patient's organism is necessary. About a special built-in microphone, the device is a tongue snapping served. For this, the device is unique to the needs of Adapted to patients. The humidification system consists of a small water tank from which capillary action distilled water on a sponge through which the Air is conducted and thus humidified.
The power supply can either via a power supply from the house power take place, or directly via the 12V battery of the electrical Wheelchair. To prevent the user from Ingestion can experience overpressure is for safety a dynamic pressure sensor installed, which the device then automatically switches off. In addition, the sensitivity of the Microphones are regulated so that even quieter ones Clicking noises are sufficient to operate the device. The The microphone does not have to be directly in front of the patient's mouth be attached, but can be like a usual Tie microphone can be attached.
Batterie. The connection cables of the microphone and the power source are lockable, as well as the adjustment button for the Microphone sensitivity. Air pressure and Air pressure monitoring can only be done with a screwdriver to be changed. By fixing the operating status an unwanted change is prevented or made more difficult. The upper display instrument is used to control the Microphone sensitivity and the water level. The The lower display is used to check the status of the connected Power source or battery.
