Abstract

A vehicle rear lamp 9 (Fig 30) is provided with an integrally moulded guide 3 by which it can be accurately positioned with respect to vehicle body panels 6,7. The guide may be attached to the mounting by portions 14-16 of reduced size whereby it can be removed after the lamp is fixed. As shown, the lamp mounts via screws 10,11 received in keyhole openings 12,13. Finger 7 of the guide abuts boot panel 6 and projection 14 abuts body panel 6 when the mounting is properly positioned. The screws are then tightened and the guide removed by breaking it off at portions 14-16.
