Gewebte Einlage- oder Zwischenfutterstoffe für Bekleidungsstücke werden üblicherweise in Taffetbindung hergestellt, wobei in der Schußfolge alternierend Z-Draht und S-Draht zur Anwendung gelangt. Diese Spannung läßt das· Gewebe - besonders in zugeschnittenem'Zustand - nicht wie üblich plan, sondern in einer leichten Wölbung fallen, die zumindest, in einer Sichtung etwa der Korperrundung entspricht. Der erzielte Effekt laßt sich auch dadurch erklären, daß die flottierenden Fäden auf einer Gewebeseite gewissermaßen vorstehende Rippen bilden, die einem Biegen des Gewebes unter Stauchung der Rippen einen -geringeren Widerstand entgegensetzen als bei einer Dehnung der Rippen.
