Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 3. November 1881 ab.Patented in the German Empire on November 3, 1881.
In order to obtain the alcohol content of the mash in a pure and concentrated state, we use asbestos fibers or asbestos wool (or other mineral wool), which with chlorine salts, but is preferably treated with chlorobarium. The separation of the alcohol from the water and fusel is done by making the mash Bring to the boil by adding heat and the vapors developed thereby drive the apparatus illustrated in the drawing, which is equipped with bearings of chlorobarium asbestos is loaded. It is a peculiarity of the infinitely hygroscopic asbestos wool, especially to captivate water vapors even at a very high temperature, but with the ability the chlorine salts bound to the asbestos cause a radical separation of the fusel oil, which remains bound by the asbestos wool with the same tenacity as the ones it contains Water particles. However, it is not the asbestos wool alone that removes the alcohol from the Water separates, it is also the device that is based on already known devices, but is nevertheless new and peculiar in its essential arrangement. The defuse on the other hand, it must be ascribed solely to the action of the chlorasbestos.
Der Apparat ist aus folgenden Haupttheilen zusammengestellt:The apparatus is composed of the following main parts:
1. der Maischcolonne A, 1. the mash column A,
2. dem Condensator bezw. Vorwärmer B, 2. the condenser respectively. Preheater B,
3. der Rectificationscolonne C. 3. the rectification column C.
The mash column breaks up again into compartments a, which, placed one above the other, rest on the mash container b and are closed by a curved lid c . In each of the compartments α there is a double corrugated iron insert diagonally. These inserts close tightly against two inner walls of the compartments and are connected to one another by pipe attachments. Furthermore, each of the compartments is partially covered with sieve trays e and provided with filling openings f for the purpose of receiving the chlorine asbestos preparations.
The condenser respectively. Preheater B connects to cover c of the mash column. The same is made of corrugated iron and forms a cone-like vessel, which has several bottoms g with lateral through openings. This cone is enclosed by a jacket which carries the mash pipe /, the mash outlet pipe k and the connecting pipe /.
The rectification column C , like the mash column, also consists of several compartments a 1 with filling openings / 1 . Here, however, the compartments are provided with sieve floors over the entire surface, which are stored on a pipe system. Here, too, the compartments are on a base η in which the connecting pipe / ends. The column is closed off by a helmet-like cover with a waste pipe.
Der Betrieb ist wie folgt:The operation is as follows:
Nachdem der Apparat gefüllt ist, wird er durch die Dampfleitungen stark angeheizt, bisAfter the apparatus is filled, it is heated up strongly by the steam lines until
60 to 70 ° C. The mash is then fed to the condenser J3, which serves as a preheater, through pipe i , and from the condenser it flows downwards from section to section in the direction of the arrows. The arrangement of the stair-like corrugated sheets forces the mash to flow slowly downwards; Because of the large area of evaporation, it spreads very thinly over the corrugated metal sheets, and is very quickly de-flooded. The stillage collects up to a certain limit in the container b, in order to lose the last remainder of the alcohol through the entering vapors.
The alcohol vapors move in the opposite direction to the mash, in that they partly through the chlorine asbestos store, partly through the mash, until it is almost completely defused get into the condenser.
The alcohol vapors not compressed in the condenser take their way through the rectification column C with 95 to 98 0 Tralles for further defuselation and dewatering and exit from this into the cooler. The alcohol-containing water vapors condensed in the condenser run out of the condenser through the pipe q into the subset η of the rectification column, which is provided with a heating coil, in order to be there again, and indeed completely, to be removed.
AVir erzielen also durch unser Verfahren:With our process, AVir achieve:
1. eine sehr concentrate Schlempe,1. a very concentrate stillage,
2. einen vollkommen fuselfreien, sehr hochgradigen Alkohol,2. a completely lint-free, very high-grade alcohol,
3. die vollkommene Gewinnung des Fuselöls. Letzteres wird beim Regeneriren des Chlor-3. the perfect extraction of fusel oil. The latter is the regeneration of the chlorine
Das auf diese Weise ausgetrocknete und entfuselte Material, das Chlorasbestpräparat, kommt immer wieder zur Verwendung, ohne dafs seine Wirkung durch den_ Gebrauch beeinträchtigt würde.asbests obtained by applying the used material in an iron retort volatilized at a high temperature and emerges as a distillate. That dried out in this way and defused material, the chlorine asbestos preparation, is used again and again, without its effect being impaired by its use.
