Description
The invention relates to a one-piece contact spring with two Spring arms and one on the spring arms opposite to Mating side of the contact spring connected connector to circuit of an electrical conductor, as well as with a Rastele ment for primary locking of the contact spring within a associated housing opening of the contact spring, the con clock spring in the area of the spring arms orthogonal to Longitudinal axis X lies at least approximately G-shaped cross has cut, with a first ceiling and a Bottom wall, each of which faces towards the front Plug side of the contact spring away from one of the two spring arms stretches, with a the first ceiling wall and the floor wall first side wall connecting and with a parallel to the first side wall and on the bottom wall connected second side wall, which extends over the he The top wall of the ceiling extends out and to which ends an egg ne second ceiling wall running parallel to the first ceiling wall is molded.
Such a contact spring with two spring arms is, for. B. from the Document DE-AS 16 40 146 known. In this document is already a one-piece contact spring with two Spring arms, a connector and a locking element in shape described a locking tongue. The contact spring has the white tere in the area of the spring arms orthogonal to the longitudinal axis se lying, approximately G-shaped cross-section. The rest tongue is designed as an extension of a spring arm.
This realization of the locking tongue does not allow the spring arm and the locking tongue to be designed independently. Rather, the ge is the local location of the locking tongue staltung the spring arm immediately set. Furthermore is disadvantageous in this contact spring that a deformation the spring arm also directly deforms the locking tongue has the consequence. For example, a contact knife between the two spring arms and pushed in, the immit affects unfoldable connection of the locking tongue to the spring arm the locking properties of the locking tongue. On the other side te causes a mechanical load on the locking tongue immediately bar also a deformation of the insertion funnel there Contact spring.
Furthermore, the pre in the document DE-AS 16 40 146 put contact spring on that call that a free end te wall part is in no way fixed in order to at a me mechanical load on the contact spring in the direction of insertion Prevent bending of the main body of the contact spring. The contact spring is therefore subject to mechanical stress easily exposed to deformation, which is also unfavorable can act on the insertion funnel of the contact spring.
However, the spring arms 30 , 32 are not in a parallel plane above the locking element. There is the locking element 38 with its sheet metal plane perpendicular to the Ble chebenen the spring arms 30 , 32nd
In the Kontaktfe described in document DE 92 01 047 U1 the sheet metal levels of the locking elements 32 , 33 are par allel to the sheet metal levels of the spring arms 2 , 3 . There, however, a completely independent of the basic spring, that is, not a piece-attached locking sleeve, which is characterized as an outer spring be, is provided.
Based on this known prior art, the Invention underlying object seen in the known te one-piece contact spring so that the detent element and the spring arm are optimally dimensioned independently of one another can be sen and that with a high mechanical load stung the contact spring a deformation of this avoided the holding force of the locking tongues is securely supported.
This object is achieved according to the characterizing part of patent claim 1 solved in the contact spring mentioned in that on the second ceiling wall a locking element for the primary ver detent of the contact spring is arranged that the second ceiling wall with its free edge up to the first side wall and the free edge of the second blanket wall is provided with at least one recess into which the edge of the first bonded to the first ceiling wall Side wall engages with a projecting section.
Further developments of the invention are the subject of the Unteran claims.
The invention is essentially based on the fact that the spring poor, the connector and the locking device of the Kontaktfe which are in one piece with each other. Beyond that the contact spring has an or in the area of the spring arms thogonal to the longitudinal axis X and at least approximately G-shaped cross section on with a first ceiling and a bottom wall, of which each face in Towards the mating side of the contact spring of one of the two springs arms stretched out. The first ceiling wall and the floor wall are connected to a side wall, with a parallel to the first side wall and on the Bo denwandung connected second side wall over which he the top wall of the ceiling. On this second be The end wall is parallel to the first ceiling wall molded second ceiling wall, in which at least one locking element for the primary locking of the contact which is arranged.
It is essential in the present invention that for the primary locking provided locking element in an additional Lichen sheet level, which is above the level of one of the two spring arms is located. This allows the spring lengths the locking element and the underlying spring arm completely be optimally dimensioned and designed independently of each other. In addition, the design of the invention abge second holding wall the holding force of the locking tongues supports, which increases the mechanical stability of the contact spring increased. To support the holding force of the locking tongue be the second ceiling wall sits on the plug side of the con clock-facing corner a recess in which the engages the underlying first side wall. The free edge the second ceiling wall is for this with at least one Provide recess in which to the first ceiling wall tied edge of the first side wall with a corre engaging projecting section. In addition, egg ne recess or a projecting section on the Edge facing the connecting part of the second ceiling wall or the first side wall can be provided.
In the present invention, this is for the primary locking provided locking element in an additional ble chplane, which is above the level of one of the two spring arms is ordered. This allows the spring lengths of the Rastele mentes, e.g. B. a locking tongue, and the underlying Fe derarmes are optimally dimensioned independently of each other. To in addition, he can by the contact spring according to the invention Significantly less material is saved compared to the previous ones conventional contact springs with base spring and over spring. On own assembly process, in which the spring over the bottom spring is turned and there a Ver detent, e.g. B. is provided in the form of a bead, omitted advantageously. By arranging two on top of each other the lying ceiling walls, where the on the inside the first top wall of the contact spring one spring arm ends and the second one above it A locking tongue is bent out, allows to arrange the spring arms and the locking tongue parallel to each other nen.
This is expediently arranged in the second ceiling wall arranged locking element as running along the longitudinal axis X. Locking tongue formed, pointing towards the connecting part is folded out of the second ceiling wall. With a Such locking element, the contact spring well in a zuge Enter the listening opening in the housing and there in a corresponding Engage the corresponding recess of the inserted contact spring. Accidental removal of the contact spring from the Opening is thanks to the immediately after the insertion ben in this housing opening springing locking element not possible anymore.
The surface of this locking element facing away from the spring arms is preferably provided with an expression. Such Expression on the locking tongue prevents the De assembly of the contact spring from the contact chamber of an associated renden housing the locking tongue with its front edge hooked on the contact chamber wall of the associated housing.
The two side walls are sufficient to protect the two spring arms and the second ceiling wall at least approximately to to the contact zone or to the spring inlet of the contact spring. Dar it is also possible that at least one of the both side walls up to the front end of the Fe derarme extends, whereby a stop surface of the Kon clock spring on the front limit of the corresponding Side wall is provided. This avoids that the spring arms in the event of improper handling of the con clock spring are accidentally bent and thus a safe Break in of an associated contact pin no longer ge is guaranteed.
To reduce the insertion force of the contact spring to a minimum adorn is a large, defined pre-opening of the Both spring arms with pre-tension of the spring force are required. For this purpose, according to a further development of the invention a spacer flap on one of the two spring arms, preferred however, two such spacer lobes each on a screen te of this spring arm, molded, this or this Support the spacer tab on the opposite spring arm. Due to the preferably bilateral arrangement of the Ab Stand flap on the spring arm becomes a parallel support of the Fe derarm on the contact pin guaranteed.
Furthermore, it is possible to use at least one of the two to be provided with a support surface that over the outer contour of the Fe formed on the bottom wall derarmes extends. Both sides are preferably with such a contact surface to protect the lower Spring arm provided.

In Fig. 1 is a first embodiment of a contact spring according to the invention in four different perspective views, namely, obliquely from above and obliquely from the right to the left above and diagonally right down and diagonally from the lower left, is shown. In the illustrated embodiment, the contact spring has a spring contact part 1 with spring arms 3 , 4 and on the spring arms 3 , 4 opposite to the plug side of the Kontaktfe the integrally connected connector part 2 for connecting an electrical conductor. In the embodiment of Fig. 1, this connector 2 is designed as an IDC connector, which is known as such. Instead of such an IDC connector, any other connector parts, e.g. B. a crimp connection, an insulation displacement connection, a double insulation displacement connection or the like can be provided. All that is essential is the one-piece connection of this connection part 2 to the spring contact part 1 .
According to the invention, the spring contact part 1 has an at least approximately G-shaped cross section lying orthogonally to the longitudinal axis X in the region of the spring arms 3 , 4 . This becomes clear from the sectional view of the contact spring in FIG. 2, which shows the cross section of the contact spring along the sectional plane S shown in FIG. 1. The contact spring has a first ceiling 10 and a bottom wall 12 , each of which extends towards the plug-in side of the contact spring on one of the ends of the spring arms 3 , 4 . The spring arms 3 , 4 run - starting from the connecting part 2 - first towards each other up to a contact zone 7 , at which the one spring arm 4 is formed on one longitudinal edge with a spacer tab 5 torn out in the direction of the other spring legs 3 as a spring opening contour. The spring arm 4 is formed on both sides at its edges with such a position tab 5 , 6 , which are supported in the region of the contact zone 7 on the opposite spring arm 3 . From the water contact zone 7 , the spring arms 3 , 4 run apart in a funnel shape. The front ends of the spring arms 3, 4 are indicated by reference numeral 3 and a 4 in a.
Vorteilhafterweise schließt die freie Kante der zweiten Deckenwandung 14 bündig mit der äußeren Oberfläche der ersten Seitenwandung 11 ab.In addition, the box-shaped spring contact part 1 is provided with a first side wall 11 , which connects the first top wall 10 and the bottom wall 12 to one another. As can be seen from FIG. 2, this first side wall 11 connects the edges of the first ceiling wall 10 and the bottom wall 12 lying on the right. At the opposite edge of the first side 11 of the bottom wall 12 includes a second side wall 13, which extends starting from the bottom wall 12 upwardly and parallel to the first side wall. 11 The second side wall 13 projects beyond the first ceiling wall 10 and is connected at the end to a second ceiling wall 14 running parallel to the first ceiling wall 10 . The second ceiling wall 14 is designed so wide that it extends approximately to the upper edge of the first ceiling wall 11 . Advantageously, the free edge of the second ceiling wall 14 is flush with the outer surface of the first side wall 11 .
In the second ceiling wall 14 , a U-shaped incision is arranged, the two longitudinal legs of which run parallel to the longitudinal axis X of the contact spring and are arranged approximately equally spaced from the center axis of the second ceiling wall 14 . Shaped U-from the sem incision is a catch tongue so herausgebo gene 17 as a locking member along the illustrated in Fig. 1 bend line 22 such that the end-side edge 17a is lifted from the surface of the second ceiling wall 14 and pointing toward the connection part 2. On the spring arms 3, 4 facing away from the surface of the locking tongue 17 is arranged 18 an embossment, means preventing changed, that the locking tongue 17 during disassembly of the contact, thus pulling out of the contact spring from a belonging contact chamber with its end-side edge 17 a on the Contact chamber wall hooked.
As can further be seen from FIG. 1, the front ends and the ends of the first side wall 11 , the second side wall 13 and the second top wall 14 facing towards the insertion side are approximately flush with one another and project up to approximately the area of the spring arms 3 , 4 , in which abut the spacer tabs 5 , 6 of the spring arm 4 on the opposite spring arm 3 . As can be clearly seen from the perspective view of the contact spring shown in FIG. 1 with a view of the contact spring from below, the first side wall 11 and the second side wall 13 are each provided with contact surfaces 15 which extend over the outer contour of the Fe connected to the bottom wall 12 extend derarmes 4 . These contact surfaces 15 of the two side walls 11 , 13 thus project beyond the lower spring arm 4 , which is bent inward into the contact spring chamber, so that the spring arm 4 is effectively protected when the contact spring rests on a plate or the like.
As mentioned above, the second top wall 14 lies with its free edge 14 a on the attached bunde to the first ceiling wall 10 nen edge 11 a of the first side wall 11, in such a way that the free edge 14a is approximately flush with said outer surface completes first side wall 11 .
To support the holding force of the latching tongue 17, however , the second ceiling wall 14 has at its front corner or its edge facing the plug side a rectangular recess 21 into which the underlying side wall 11 engages with a section 20 projecting. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the recess 21 of the second ceiling wall 14 is formed in that the free edge 14 a of the second ceiling wall 14 springs back in an L-shape on its side facing the contact spring. A rectangular projecting section 20 of the side wall 11 engages in this recess 21 , so that the second top wall 14 and the first side wall 11 abut one another in a wedging manner.
According to a further development of the invention, which is shown in detail in FIG. 3, the first side wall 11 can be provided with a projecting section 20 , both at its end facing the plug-in side of the contact spring and at the end pointing to the connecting part 2, which section belongs to Recesses of the second ceiling wall 14 engages. For this purpose, in the second ceiling wall 14 of the contact spring is both provided on the pointing towards the mating side edge and pointing towards the connection part 2 edge each provided with a preferably L-shaped recess 21, into which the two protruding portions 20 engage the he most side wall. 11 This ensures that the second top wall 14 can be displaced either in the direction of the connection part 2 still in the insertion side, since both of the second side wall 14 BEWE supply directions of the free edge 14 a of the protruding portions 20 of the side wall 11 abuts.
As can be seen from the perspective view of FIG. 4, which shows an exemplary embodiment of a contact spring based on the contact part 1 , which is only shown for the sake of clarity, at least one of the two side walls, here the first side wall 11 , can extend over the front end 3 a, 4 a of the spring arms 3 , 4 also extend. The end face 11 b facing the plug-in side of the contact spring forms with a stop surface of the contact spring in an associated contact chamber of the contact spring.
As can be seen from the partial perspective view of a further embodiment of a contact spring according to the invention in Fig. 5, both Seitenwan applications 11 , 13 of the contact spring on the front ends 3 a, 4 a of the spring arms 3 , 4 protrude. The end face 14 b of the second ceiling wall 14 may, but need not, be set back in the direction of the connection part 2 of the contact spring behind the end faces 11 b and 13 b of the first side wall 11 and second side wall 13 . As a result, the effective stop surface of the contact spring is increased within an associated contact chamber and thus a higher greater strength of the contact spring is achieved. In addition, the behind the faces 11 b and 13 b back staggered spring arms 3, 4 effectively from damage, such as inadvertently bending, protected.
