The subject of the innovation is a SIGNALSTABLEUGHTE, as it is for the
various uses in the traffic police, in railway operations
etc., but especially used at airports to flag landing planes.
nachstehend beschriebenen Neuerung vermieden.Such lights were developed from the known flashlights, their
Luminosity for signaling purposes was increased by the fact that the light bulb for the interior lighting of a light cylinder placed on the battery container
is used. The light of the
A lightbulb, which is colored mainly yellow by a filter, is thrown onto the inner wall of the luminous cylinder. All previously known signal rod lights
but have a number of disadvantages that make you particularly noticeable in operation. So it is above all the replacement of the lamps
difficult and time-consuming because reflectors, filters and fluorescent tubes
are not connected to each other and are only laboriously brought into the correct position when connecting the fluorescent tube to the battery container
have to. The total weight of the lamp is quite due to the use of light metal for the housing and plexiglass for the fluorescent tube
high. The lever switches used so far are also not particularly suitable for signaling. All of these drawbacks are with the
innovation described below avoided.
gefertigt ist, in den unten ein Konkavreflektor (l) mit der GlühbirneThe advantage of the new arrangement is primarily that by combining the individual parts of the lighting system, consisting of a light cylinder, concave reflector with light bulb and counter reflector to form a structural unit, the time required to replace a light bulb is reduced to a large extent. This is especially true when a] £ complete lighting system is kept in reserve. But even if Marga waives this and accepts that the concave reflector with the light bulb inserted into the lower end of the light cylinder must be pulled out and pushed back in after the bulb has been replaced, the time required is significantly less than with the known lights. The new connection between the lighting system and the battery container by means of a union nut with a coarse thread or bayonet connection is also of particular importance for the possibility of quick replacement. With a bayonet coupling, a fraction of a turn is sufficient for this. By using plastic for the battery case, the weight of the light could be reduced considerably. Furthermore, instead of a lever switch that is not suitable for signaling purposes, a push-button switch has been provided that can be switched to permanent contact by means of a slide. Finally, the light intensity of the lamp was increased by using a light bulb of at least 2.4 V and 0.5 Amp. In the drawing, Fig. 1 shows a view of the new SIGNALÖTABLEUOHTE, while in the sectional drawing Fig. 2 the details of the structure are explained in more detail. In these figures (a) denotes the battery container, (b) the lighting system (consisting of light cylinders, reflectors and light bulb), (c) the union nut, (d) the switch and (e) the strap attached to the battery container . To make it easier to hold the lamp in place, the lower part of the battery container is provided with a longitudinal riffle, as can be clearly seen in Fig. 1. In the battery container, several drying elements or collector cells (f) are arranged one above the other, which are pressed in a known manner by a conical spiral spring (g) located on the bottom of the container upwards against one pole of the lamp socket or lamp. At the upper end of the container there is a switch (d), which consists of a Morse code switch activated by pushbutton (h) and a slide (i) to switch this switch to permanent contact. The lighting system (b) consists of the lighting cylinder (k) which is made of a transparent or translucent plastic that is preferably yellow in color, in which a concave reflector (l) with the light bulb is inserted below
