Silos der geannten Art dienen in verschiedenen Größen und Grundrißformen bei Kohlenhandelsgeschäften zum Absacken von Kohlen oder Briketts oberhalb einer Waage. Sie sind vornehmlich verfahrbar. Die wesentlichsten Vorgänge sind das Absacken und die zeitweise feststellung des Siloinhaltes. Dies ist mangelhaft, weil mit solchen Reglern beim Schließen das Absackgut zerstoßen wird und damit der Grusanfall erheblich steigt, dagegen die beabsichtigte Regelung nicht erreicht werden kann. Ferner ist bei den üblichen Silos zur zwischenzeitlichen Feststellung des Siloinhaltes das Herbeibringen, Anstellen und Wegnehmen einer Leiter erforderlich. Diese Mängel werden beim Absacksilo nach der Neuerung ausgeschlossen. Der den Gegenstand der Neuerung bildende Absacksilo für Kohlen und Briketts besteht darin, daß das Auslaufende eine Klappe aufweist, die in Lagern mittels seitlichen Handgriffen und unter Wirkung eines Gegengewichtes um etwa 900 verschwenkbar aufgenommen ist, und die außer- dem rechtwinkelige Seitenwände besitzt, die in Richtung des Auslaufes, diesen verengten ;, eingewinkelt ausgebildet sind.The discharge opening is the most important part of such a silo.
