zugsweise aufgeschobenen Konvektorrippen elektrische Haizpatro-

of Mr. Withold Michallek, Hückeswagen, Reinshagenbever 99 "Convector for space heating" Well-known convectors for space heating consist of a pipe for superheated steam or hot water with cast-on or pushed-on flat convector ribs. In addition to the high installation costs for the necessary heating boiler, such convectors have the disadvantage that a large heat gradient occurs over their length and thus the convector gives off more heat to the air on the water inlet side than on the water outlet side. This uneven heat dissipation not only has a disruptive effect on the room heating, but also the heat dissipation capacity of the convector fins is not used properly. The innovation is based on the task of addressing the aforementioned disadvantages to eliminate. This is done with a convector for room heating

The licensing cartridges are two-way chosen so that they are on one

The newcomer Kouvektor continues to be trained to do so
on two or more, but preferably three, in parallel in
one-level ears, these encompassing onvector ribs

A particularly favorable heat transfer from the electrical heating
cartridge over the receiving tube to the ribs results in a
Execution of the tubes from swab and the convector fins from aluminum
sheet metal. Then the copper pipes with a wall thickness of about 1 mm have a diameter of about 13 mm and the convector ribs with a thickness of about 0.3 mm are spaced about 4 mm apart.
It is expedient to use the electrical ones absorbed by the copper pipes
To give heating cartridges a power of about 300 W and such an electrical circuit
provide that either one, two or three cartridges can be switched on, so that
the heat output of the convector can be controlled with simple means.

The convector consists of three copper pipes 10, which are equidistantly spaced from one another in one plane. Thin, approximately 0.3 mm thick convector ribs 11 made of sheet aluminum are pushed over the copper pipes at the same distance from one another exhibit. Electric heating cartridges 13 are inserted into the tubes 10, each heating cartridge preferably having a power of approximately 300 W. The diameter of a copper pipe 10 is approximately with a wall thickness 1 mm about 13 mm and the distance between the convector ribs 11
preferably about 4 mm.
The heating cartridges are switched in such a way that optionally a heating cartridge
two or three heating cartridges are in operation.
Fig. 3 shows the installation of the convector in a Konvekfionssehacht
14, which is formed by a housing that is closed on all sides and has an air inlet 15 extending over the entire width of the housing only in the front and an air outlet 16 in the upper part. The air outlet opening 16 is covered with a grille and can also be attached to the top of the housing.
