Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung des Verfahrens zur Darstellung von Alumiumstickstoffverbindungen gemäß Patent 181991, nach welchem Aluminiumcarbid, erhitzt und der Einwirkung von Stickstoff ausgesetzt wird. Die Verbesserung besteht darin, daß der Stickstoff im Gemisch mit Salzsäuregas oder Schwefeldioxyd auf das Aluminiumcarbid zur Einwirkung gebracht wird, wodurch die Bildung der Stickstoffverbindungen wesentlich gefördert wird. Die Menge der dem Stickstoff zuzusetzenden Säuregase braucht nur sehr gering zu sein, um diese Wirkung zu erzielen. Ebenso kann die Zufuhr dieser Gase zum Stickstoff in beliebiger Weise erfolgen, so z. B. dadurch, daß man den Stickstoff, bevor man ihn mit dem Aluminiumcarbid in Reaktion bringt, durch Gefäße leitet (selbstverständlich unter Zurückhaltung eventuell mitgerissener Wasserdämpfe), in denen diese Gase sich entweder in mehr oder weniger konzentrierter wässeriger Lösung befinden, oder aus denen sie sich sonstwie entwickeln können.The present invention relates to an improvement in the method of display of aluminum nitrogen compounds according to patent 181991, according to which aluminum carbide, heated and exposed to nitrogen.
