Description
The invention relates to a rotary piston machine of the trochoid type with a housing which has a jacket with a multi-lobed inner surface, and with a polygonal piston in its corners radially movable, coated with a wear-resistant layer sealing strips are used, which when Slide along the circumference of the piston on the inner surface of the shell. Such a rotary piston machine is known from DT-Gbm 18 75 810.
In rotary piston machines of this type, there is a significant problem in a material pairing find, on the one hand, the lowest possible wear of the inner surface of the housing shell and the Provides sealing strip and on the other hand expect sufficient mechanical strength for these parts leaves. In known rotary piston machines, the jacket and its inner surface are made of light metal coated with chrome or nickel, while the sealing strip is made of sintered carbon or cast iron (Automotive technology magazine »ATZ« 68/5, May 1966, P. 152 or "ATZ" 69/9, September 1967, p. 282). The coating of the inner surface requires at large numbers of items require a considerable investment and the strength of the light metal jacket is at often insufficient due to increased stress. Sealing strips made of sintered carbon result in a very low Wear of the inner surface, however, are relatively fragile, so that reliable operation over a longer period is not guaranteed. Attempts have also been made to make the cast iron coat and chrome-plating the tips of the sealing strips (internal state of the art). These However, the material pairing resulted in unsatisfactory wear values.
The invention has set itself the task of creating a rotary piston machine * .ü that has a low Has wear of both the inner shell surface and the sealing strips and with a relative can be produced with little effort.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the inner surface of the jacket is made of inductively hardened There is malleable cast iron and that at least the dome of each sealing strip sliding along this inner surface with a galvanically applied nickel layer with embedded particles made of a hard material is provided. The inductive hardening of the inner surface of the housing shell can be achieved with relatively little investment and in a relatively short time compared to electroplating and the systems for coating the sealing strips are naturally much smaller than that Systems that were previously required for coating the inner jacket surface. With the invention Material pairing could be the wear values of the inner jacket surface and the top of the sealing cisterns can be reduced to a minimum.
The inner surface of the jacket is preferably made of malleable cast iron that has not been annealed in a decarburization process and is hardened to a depth of 1 to 1.5 mm to 550 to 700 kg / mm 2 Vickers hardness HV 3. The nickel layer on the sealing strip tip contains silicon carbide particles with a grain size of predominantly 1 μm and below.
Light metal, non-ferrous metal (copper, brass, bronze), steel or gray cast iron can be used as the base material for the sealing strip. The sealing strip tip can be coated by first applying a zinc layer approximately 1 μm thick to the tip. The sealing strip is then placed in a galvanic nickel sulfamate bath containing 80 to 100 g of nickel, 2.5 to 3 g of chlorine, 20 to 30 g of boric acid, 1.5 to 2.5 g of saccharin and 90 to 100 g per liter of electrolyte Silicon carbide powder with a grain size of predominantly 1 μm and below (number of particles over 3 μm not more than 1%) contains. The nickel bath is kept at a temperature of 50 to 70 ° C. and its pH value is adjusted to about 4.5. When the bath is at rest, a nickel base layer of 16 to 20 μm thickness is deposited with a current density of 2 Amp./dm 2 cathode surface (= surface to be coated) which contains a negligible number of silicon carbide particles. The bath is then set in motion in order to suspend the silicon carbide particles in the electrolyte and at the same time the current density is increased to 20 Amp./dm 2 , with nickel and silicon carbide particles being deposited on the nickel base layer until a coating of about 300 μm thickness is achieved. The dome coated in this way is then ground and, if necessary, lapped.
Es zeigtAn embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. It shows

Diese Schicht hat eine Härte von etwa 500 bis fauO kg/mm:.In order to keep the wear of the inner jacket surface 2 and the sealing strip tips as low as possible, according to the invention the jacket 1 with its inner surface 2 made of malleable cast iron, the inner surface 2 to a depth of 1 to 1.5 mm at 550 to 700 kg / mm : Vickers hardness HV 3 was hardened. In order to achieve a smooth transition of the applied nickel layer, it is advisable to use the To set back the tip of each sealing strip a little before coating, as shown at 8 in FIG. 2 is shown. The nickel layer 9 with the silicon carbide particles is then applied galvanically applied. The nickel layer can also be one or both flanks 10 of the sealing strip 6 cover completely or partially.
