Strahldüse für Hochdruck-StrahleinrichtungenJet nozzle for high pressure jet equipment
Sand, quartz sand, or corundum are generally used as blasting media metallic grain used. - In known jet nozzles, the injector insert for the pressure medium is in housed the axis of the nozzle housing, it opens into a chamber into which the blasting agent enters to be carried away. Such jet nozzles have proven themselves, but are in need of improvement, if extreme acceleration of the blasting media is required and, in addition, it is required that with a Such a jet nozzle e.g. also under water and at

erheblichen Wassertiefen gearbeitet werden kann.considerable water depths can be worked.
The invention is based on the object of specifying how a jet nozzle of the type described above is to be designed, so that on the one hand the blasting agent extreme acceleration can be given, and there is also the option of using the jet nozzle to work underwater even at considerable water depths.
The invention relates to a jet nozzle for high-pressure jet devices, in particular sand blasting devices, consisting of nozzle housing, injector insert for the pressure medium, device for feeding the blasting medium and outlet nozzle tube »The invention consists in that the injector insert has an annular circumferential distribution chamber for the pressure medium with an acute conical shape having converging pressure medium outlet bores or pressure medium outlet slots and the device Introduced concentrically into the injector insert as a central pipe socket for supplying the blasting agent is, in such a way that * the pressure medium outlet bores or pressure medium outlet slots this Pipe socket surrounded in a ring. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the arrangement is so open, that the pressure medium outlet bores or the pressure medium outlet slots and the EinfUhrungsrohrstutzen for the pressure medium open in the same plane (orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle housing). Appropriately is the outlet nozzle tube according to the pointed cone

fönnig zusammenlaufenden Druckmittelaustrittsbohrungen oder Drucfanittelaustrittsschlitze eingezogen.fönnig converging pressure medium outlet bores or pressure outlet slits drawn in.
Von besonderem Vorteil ist die Tatsache, daßThe advantages achieved by the invention are first of all to be seen in the fact that in the blasting nozzle according to the invention, considerable acceleration is imparted in the blasting medium via the pressure medium emerging from the pressure medium outlet bores or pressure medium outlet holes. This is particularly true when the pressure medium is a liquid pressure medium, preferably water, and pressures of 300 ^ i 3 goo atü are used. Here the pressure medium forms a cone which, as it were, carries the blasting medium through the inside and accelerates it convectively as a result of the convergence prescribed by the cone angle. The abrasive receives extreme kinetic energy with a very steep speed distribution curve for the individual grains of the abrasive. The conical jacket of the pressure medium forms a screen around the blasting medium. For this reason, the jet nozzle according to the invention can easily be used in water, even at extreme water depths. Admittedly, water surrounding the outside is then entrained via the conical jacket, but the abrasive carried along inside the conical jacket does not experience any impairment of its acceleration. In general, the object to be blasted will not be arranged too far from the apex of the cone defined by the axes of the pressure medium outlet bores or pressure medium outlet slots. The fact that

Es zeigen:the jet nozzle according to the invention is also very simple in terms of construction and manufacturing technology » This will be explained in the following with the aid of only one exemplary embodiment, but also further features the invention explanatory drawing set forth in more detail.
