Hagelrakete.Hail rocket.
pulverenthalt.

wisely used cheddit. Apart from the heavy weight of the rg-
The relatively large amount of cheddit required has the disintegrating effect

The explosive device 6 consists of a powdery mixture of an oxygen carrier, a metal powder and silver iodide. The following are, for example, suitable as oxygen carriers Substances individually or mixed: Potassium chlorate, KaliuNper
chlorate, potassium nitrate, barium nitrate and barium chloride. A light metal powder is expediently used to produce the explosive device. Aluminum, magnetium and zirconium, individually or mixed, are particularly useful. Alloys of the metals mentioned can also be used. Oxygen carriers, metal powder and silver iodide are dry mixed and filled into the detonation body 5; A layer-by-layer filling is also possible by placing an intermediate layer of bilber iodide on top of each layer of oxygen carrier and metal powder.

The above-mentioned explosive device reads itself through the use of stoppins to explode, i.e. without initial ignition, as it has to be used with conventional explosives such as cheddite, for example with sprinkling capsules. As a result of the powder form of the explosive charge 6, it ignites much faster than a conventional explosive; During the explosion it causes a spherical wave-shaped atomization of the silver iodide and 3

speeds of 6500 m / sec and temperatures of

has proven to be particularly suitable for combating hail. Since the explosive device used here ensures extremely fine atomization of the silver iodide, the nail rocket described is extremely effective.
