Abstract

The vacuum cleaner tool comprises a connector pipe suitably designed to fit onto a hose and provided with two swivel mouth piece members. Das erfindungsgemäße Staubsaugermundstück umfaßt einen Anschlußstutzen 1 geeigneter Ausbildung zurr· Anschließen an den Schlauch oder das Rohr eines Staubsaugers. Der Anschlußstutzen 1 ist mit zwei schwenkbaren Mundstückteilen 2, 3 ( F i g. 2) versehen. Die Mundstückteile 2 und 3 sind schwenkbar um Lagerzapfen 4, und in den Stellungen, die die Mundstückteile in den Fig. 1 und 2 einnehmen, bildet das Staubsaugermundstück eine sogenannte Fugendüse, die in Spalte und schmale öffnungen eingesteckt werden kann, da die Dicke des Mundstückes an der Spitze lediglich 10 bis 12 mm beträgt. In den Fig.! und 2 ist das Ende des Staubsaugermundstückes offen, so daß ein kräftig saugender Luftstrom, wie durch den Pfeil 5 angedeutet, einströmen kann. Wenn das Staubsaugen von Spalten und öffnungen, z. B. in gepolsterten Möbeln, abgeschlossen ist, und man auf größeren Flächen staubsaugen möchte, werden die Mundstückteile 2 und 3, wie in der F i g. 3 dargestellt, ausgeschwenkt. In der F i g. 3 ist der Mundstückteil 3 bereits in die neue Stellung ausgeschwenkt, während der Mundstückteil 2 in seiner ursprünglichen Stellung steht. Wenn beide Mundstückteile in dieselbe Ebene geschwenkt sind, erhält das Mundstück, von unten gesehen, die in Fig.4 dargestellte und für Polstermundstücke kennzeichnende 7-Form. Zu der Schwenkbarkeit besitzt das Polstermundstück nach unten offene Kanäle 6, die den Saugspalt bilden, der durch das Auseinanderschwenken der Mundstückteile 2, 3 entsteht. Der Saugspalt entspricht dem größten Teil der Unterseite 7 des in Fig.4 dargestellten Staubsaugermundstückes.
