Es sind Atemschutzgeräte bekannte die aus einer Maske, ine-
besondereaus einer Halbmaeket und damit verbundenem Filter-
gehäuse bestehen. Dabei ist auch bekannt$ den Deckel des
7iltergehiusen abuehmbar auszubilden# wobei In dem Pilter-
gehause ein Filtera&terial wie ein Schwebstoffiltermaterial
untergebracht iet, dessen Rand zwischen dem Rand des Filters
und dem Deckelrand eingeklemmt ist. Weiterhin ist ee bekannt,
das filtergehäuse mit einem Anachlußetutzen zu vergehen, mit
dem die Verbindung zur Maske hergestellt wird. Dabei ist es
auch bekannt, diesen Anschlußetutzen nicht in der Kitte
sondern außermittig in dem liltergehiuseboden anzuordnen.

Die bekannten Anschlußstutzen enden in einem Bund und dienen zum gleichsam
knopfartigen Befestigen in einer entsprechenden Öffnung einer Halbmaske. Die bekannte
Befestigungsart hat den Nachteil, daß unter Umständen bei dem starken Zug in der
Maske der Anschlußstutzen des Filtertopfes sich von der Maske löst. Die Neuerung
erstrebt, diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden. Die Neuerung betrifft ein Filtergehäuse
mit einem mit einem Bund versehenen Anschlußstutzen zur einknöpfbaren Befestigung
der Anschlußöffnung einer Halbmaske. Die Neuerung besteht darin. daß der Bund in
Aufsicht oval ausgebildet ist.
Dabei kann die Bundrerstärkung beidseitig des Anschluß-
stutzens in radialer Richtung vom Mittelpunkt des Filtertopfes liegen. Weiterhin
kann auch der Anschlußstutzen oval ausgebildet sein. Diese Ausbildung des Anschlußstutzens
und seines Bundes haben den Vorteil, daS bei einem Zug in der Maske bzw. am Filter
diese sich nicht so leicht voneinander trennen. In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform
der Neuerung schematisch dargestellt, und zwar zeigen Abb. 1 einen Schnitt und Abb.
2 eine Aufsicht von der Rückseite den Filtertopfes.
