Man kennt ferner bereits Uhrarmbänder, die aus textilen Werkstoffein. insbesondere aus Fäden, Voll- oder Hohlkordeln o. dgl. geflochten oder gewebt sind. Diese bekannten Bänder sind im allgemeinen unelastisch und haben deshalb den Nachteil, daß sie entweder auf den Arm nicht fest sitzen oder aber. wenn durch entsprechendes Einstellen der Schnalle ein fester Sitz gegeben ist, einen lästigen Druck auf den Arm ausüben und diesen einschnüren. Um diesen Nachteil möglichst einzusehränken, ist man schon dazu übergegangen, Uhrarmbänder aus textilen Werkstoffen wenigstens teilweise elastisch dehnbar zu suchen. Das geschieht dadurch, daß zwischen aus unelastischen Bändern, Kordeln o. dgl. bestehenden Teilen elastische Einsätze einge- schaltet sind.. die aus mit Gummifäden gearbeiteten Bauabschnitt ten, Kordeln o. dgl. gebildet sind. Uhrarmbänder mit elastin sehen Einsätzen sind verhältnismässig umständlich in der Herstellung und deshalb ziemlich teuer. Ausserdem besitzen sie nur eine sehr beschränkte Elastizität, was zur Folge hat, daß sie bei festem Sitz immer noch einen Druck auf den Arm ausüben oder den Arm einschnüren. Ansserdem müssen sie mit einer Schnalle oder einem anderen Verschluß versehen sein, der es gestattet, das Armband beim Anbringen am Arm und beim Wiederabnehmen zu öffnen. Das Band nach Muster Nr. 2 könnte statt mit einem auch mit zwei, vorzugsweise gegenläufig eingetragenen Schußfäden gearbeitet sein.
