Klischeescbrank dient dem Zweck, die in den Buchdruckereibetrieben (Handsetzereien)
vorhandenen und sich ständig vermehrenden Klischees (Druckstöcke) aller Art aufzunehmen.
Infolge der technischen Entwicklung werden heute Klischees nicht mehr auf Holz-
unterlagen genagelt, sondern auf Metallunterlagen geklebt,
und nach
Erledigung des Druckvorganges wieder von der Unterlage abgelöst. Demgemäß beträgt
der Platzbedarf zur Aufbewahrung der Klischees nur etwa noch ein Fünftel gegenüber
bisher. Dem trägt der raumsparende Klischeeschrank Rechnung. In einer großen Zahl
sehr niedriger - nur 7,5 mm hoher - Schubfächer können alle Arten von Klischees
bis zu einer Größe von 225 x 32o mm aufbewahrt werden. Die Aufbewahrung erfolgt
schonend, weil die Klischees nicht mehr übereinander gelegt und dadurch verkratzt
werden. Ein zeitraubendes Verpacken der Klischees ist nicht'mehr erforderlicht Durch
Kennzeichnung der Schubfächer und entsprechender Katalogisierung ist ein rasches

sind aus hartem Kunststoff. Die Maße sind so gehalten, daß mit entsprechender Toleranz
die Schubfächer in den Führungsrillen leicht hin-und hergeschoben werden können
