Description
Method and apparatus for the continuous wet processing of fiber sheets .The invention relates to a method and apparatus for the continuous wet processing, in particular washing, of fiber sheets, such as tows of polyacrylonitrile, polyamide and like fibers, wherein several times out, the fiber sheets by treatment liquids, and preferably between individual liquid treatments are dehydrated to remove the solvents and other substances that can be washed out that are on and in the threads. -Depending on the material to be spun, side reactions are formed during the spinning process. For example sulfur, sulphates, acids and the like, which are held by the threads. Part of the solvent also adheres to and in the threads. In the trim position of synthetic threads, it is therefore known, this f to carry out various treatment steps to these troublesome components from the threads to be removed after discharge from the spinneret. It is also known to guide the tow as endless sheets of thread through several treatment baths arranged one behind the other. In another known method, the tow is cut into stacks and the cut fibers are guided on transport elements through the individual baths or sprinkled with treatment liquid on sieve belts in individual treatment sections: In the known methods, speeds of more than 60 mlmin are currently already occurring. on. However, yarn speeds of 150 m and more are aimed for. At these high speeds, very large treatment devices are required.
So that these washing devices do not occupy too large a space, it is known to arrange several treatment tubs one above the other. More than 3 tubs however, they are generally in height for reasons of operation and space difficult to do. At conveyor speeds of up to 60 m`min. are currently approx. 9 - 12 treatment baths are required, which in turn have a length of about 3 - 5 m. At higher speeds a correspondingly larger number of known Baths or correspondingly longer baths should be used, as a certain exposure time is absolutely necessary, as the substances contained in the fibers have a certain Need time to diffuse out of the fiber interior.
The invention is based on the object of finding a way in which the treatment time can be shortened, so that with smaller devices and smaller amounts of treatment liquid can be managed.
It has been found that diffusion from within the fiber is essential is accelerated when the concentration gradient between the fibers and the the The liquid surrounding the fibers is as large as possible. With the usual washout processes the treatment liquor, which immediately surrounds the fiber bundles, is enriched with it the substances to be washed out, so that the concentration gradient is thereby and the wash-off times are extended accordingly.
According to the invention it is now proposed that the thread sheets adherent washable substances that can be removed mechanically at the beginning the hTaß treatment if possible to remove quickly and intensively by Treatment liquor across the thread sheets, d.1. across the running direction the thread sheets, is directed. Subsequently, the aim is to remove the in the fibers leachable substances, the fibers stay longer in a treatment liquid linger.
Tests have shown that the mechanical removal of the Substances adhering to the outside of the fibers significantly reduce the treatment time, in various ways Cases can even be shortened by almost half. The treatment fleet can in the first treatment section, in which a mechanical removal of the substances takes place, e.g. being sucked or pushed through the material, and in the second treatment stage can the thread sheets through flat, trough-shaped liquid container with im essential still liquid are drawn. It is also possible here to 'die Filing sheets of thread folded in the treatment liquid and after a certain amount Dwell time to open the folds again.
A particularly good washing effect is obtained if, in the first treatment stage, where the liquid is passed through the thread sheets, the thread sheets at least a drum under suction, compressed in the direction of flow and are flowed through by treatment liquid. The upsetting creates an opening reaches the thread sheet, so that it is much better off the treatment liquid can be flowed through.
The combination proposed by sieve drum washing baths with flat, tub-shaped bases. at The sieve drum can use the sieve drum baths: either under suction or under overpressure stand. Several sieve drums can also be arranged in one treatment bath, The screen drums can preferably be arranged one above the other. When ordered multiple sieve drums, it is possible that the sucked in on one sieve drum Liquid passed into the second sieve drum and from there from inside outwards the sieve drum shell and the good durcliströnit passed around the sieve drum. It is thus possible to use two or more screening drums with a single pump device to flow through with liquor.
The tub-shaped containers have a structure known per se, and that the thread sheets are here via at least one transport element, preferably a roller, guided at the inlet and outlet of the tub in the treatment liquor. Between the individual baths are preferably provided presses or at least in the Transferring the thread sheet from a bath grater to an overlying one.
Instead of these flat, tub-shaped baths, however, it is also possible to build the wheel container in a U-shape, with the two legs open at the top. In The thread sheets are folded into one leg and inserted from the other Seekel, in turn, peeled off. This results in a relatively long residence time in a short space. Such U-shaft-shaped baths can also be combined with the flat, tub-shaped baths can be provided.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. In this device, the yarn sheet 2 to be treated is first over under suction standing sieve drums 2, which are arranged in liquid-filled containers 3 are guided and flowed through by treatment liquid. 'After the containers 3 presses 4 for dewatering the thread sheet 1 are provided '. Then arrive the thread sheets 1 in flat, tub-shaped baths 5 and are there over rollers 6 guided through the treatment liquor. Between the bathrooms on one floor are outside the treatment liquid rollers 7, which optionally have a P, -eßwalze 8 can be assigned. The thread warps 1 are pressed off. «- enigsiens an the transfer from one floor to another. All treatment baths 3 and 5 have a common Absaurliatibe 9, with which. those from the baths <iiifsteigeiiden Vapors and grass can be removed. The baths themselves are heated early in the morning. However, it is also possible for the Siebtromrmelbä: the one separate Provide a suction hood. By arranging one or two sieve drum baths it is generally possible to use at least three of the tub-shaped treatment baths to save. It has also been found that water consumption is significant lower than with the exclusive use of tub-shaped treatment baths is. Due to the high wastewater costs, the device according to the invention works with it much more economic. In the case of various processes, there is also an improvement in quality given.
