Das Bluster'besaht sich auf Diohtmanschetten, wie sie
in zahlreichen Ausführungsformen zur Abdichtung von be-
wegten, also insbesondere sich drehenden oder hin-und
hergehenden Maschinenteilen, zB. Wellen Stangen und
aber*eebräuchlich sind. Man hat diese Dichtmansohetten
mit den Dichtlippen bisher vorzugsweise aus Leder oder natürlichemKautschuk) und
neuerdings überwiegend aus synthetischem Kautschuk, also jeweils durchgehend aus
einem einheitlichen Werkstoff hergestellte wobei Stoffe
gewählt werden müssen, welche die erforderliche Elastizität
und Biegsamkeit besitzen. Damit innerhalb des Manschettenquerschnittes in einzelnen
Fällen gewisse Unterschiede in den mechanischen Eigenschaften erzielt werden, hat
man derartige Dichtungsmanschetten auch schon mit Einlagen aus Metallen. Webstoffen
oder dergl. versehen. die in verschiedener Dichte über den Manschettenquerschnitt
verteilt sind.
