α ist der eigentliche Behälter oder der Untertheil des Etuis, aus starkem Messingblech gestanzt, b der Deckel, dessen Pressung bei dem vorliegenden Modell ein Hufeisen zeigt und bei d mit dem Untertheil α durch Scharnier verbunden ist. d¹ ist eine kleine Blattfeder, welche dazu angebracht ist, den Deckel b in die Höhe zu schnellen, sobald der Haken P durch Druck auf die mit Knopf und Oese versehene Feder a¹ gelöst ist. Nahe dem hinteren Ende des Etuis und nicht weit vom Boden abstehend ist ein quer durch den Behälter gehender Stift c¹ eingelöthet, um welchen sich die zum Tragen der Cigaretten bestimmte dünne Messingplatte c dreht, e ist eine Spiralfeder, welche dazu dient, die vorerwähnte Platte c so weit in die Höhe zu heben, als Fig. 4 dies zeigt, sobald der Deckel b emporschnellt.
