Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Augenklappe zum Bändigen von Pferden, und zwar gehört sie zu jener Klasse von Augenklappen, die aus einem festen und einem an diesem drehbar angeordneten Teil bestehen. Im Gebrauch befindliche Vorrichtungen dieser Art zeigen den Nachteil, daß die drehbaren Klappen jedesmal nach dem Gebrauch von Hand wieder in ihre Anfangsstellung gebracht werden müssen, oder es sind zum Bewegen der Klappen Hebel, Scharniere und Drehzapfen vorgesehen, wodurch ihre Konstruktion umständlicher wird. An der Außenseite sind senkrecht zur Linie a-b drei Platten K K¹ L (Fig. 1) parallel nebeneinander befestigt, von denen die Platten K und K¹ dieselbe Form haben. Platte K wird mit ihrem einen Ende am unbeweglichen Teil A befestigt, während sein anderes über die Linie a-b hervorragendes Ende (Fig. 4) mit einer am beweglichen Klappenteile B befestigten Schraubenfeder E verbunden ist.
