Metall-Griffe für SJaschenschirme wurden bisher ausschliesslich der Form hergestellt und verwendet, wie in der beiliegenden Zeichnung A dargestellt. Bei diesen Griffen besteht der Kopf exm zwei tellerförmigen Metallschalen,die zusammengesetzt eine £la@l\ Diskusform ergeben» Sie mittlere Hohe des Griff kopf es ist immeg gebunden an die für die Befestigung des Griffes auf dem Schirmstock vorgesehene Verschraubung ,während sich die form des Kopfos nach dem Rande zu so verjüngt,dass diese in einen sehr schmalen und teilweise scharfen Band ausläuft. Dieser Form mangelt es ac. einer guten und angenehmen Griffigkeit und an der Möglichkeit, den Griff ausser den auf der oberen Kopfplatte beschränkt anzubringenden Prägungen weiter modern und ansprechend zu gestalten. Man kann diese Griff-Form als ziemlich abgewirtschaftet bezeichnen. Die Mode ,der auch der taschenschirm unterworfen ist ,sucht nach anderen Griff-Formen und Ausführungen ,die mehr darstellen, dem Schirm eine neue Hote zu geben und ihn aus dem Niveau.,in das er mittlerweile abgeglitten ist,wieder herauszuheben.-Das soll durch die in den Zeichnungen B bis F dargestellten und in der gleichen Richtung möglichen weiteren Gestaltungen der Metall-Griffe bezweckt und erreicht werden. Unter Beibehaltung der mittleren Hohe des Griff kopf es für die Verschraubung wird der Köpf bei diesen neuartigen Formen nach dem äusseren Hände si nicht verjüngt, sondern stärker und massiger gearbeitet ,indem die öber-oder Unterschale,gegebenenfalls auch beide,in der geiTünscä" ten Fora höher und bauchiger gezogen oder gedrückt werden. Dabei -wird die mittlere Höhe bei diesen Schalen so weit zurückgehalten bis die bei den zusammengesetzten Schalen erforderliche Hohe fsb die Verschraubung erreicht ist. Diese hoher und massiger gearbeiteten Kopf e lassen neben der Anbringung von geschmackvollen Prägungen auf der Kopfplatte auch eine vielseitige ,beliebige m ansprechende Gestaltung der äusseren Form zu,sodass damit aueä, der jeweiligen Moderichtung entsprochen werden kann.
