Combination lock
Addendum to German patent ......
(German patent application W 43 420 Ic / 58a)
The invention of the main patent relates to a combination
nati.onsachloB, comprising a socket housing with one
Mandrel receiving channel - one , in this Dornautuahmekanal
to be introduced mandrel with a plurality of locking devices
countersinks on which: housing rotatably mounted a multiple
number of setting rings and in relation to. of the DQrnauf-
receiving channel radially arranged bores of the housing
displaceably guided locking pins, whose-radially inner

After the exemplary embodiment of the main patent, the
:, perrs tute hemispherical at their radially inner ends
shaped; this iruzeren radially: Ondes act with locking devices
countersinks, which are designed as circumferential grooves with a semicircular cross section. The hemispherical heads at the radially inner ends of the locking pins and the semicircular grooves act at. Pulling out the mandrel after the .Einstellung releasing the mandrels bewir- kenden combination of Einstellringpositionen cammed together., Ie, the locking pins of the annular grooves of the undressing Dornea-in the radial direction are pushed outward by the flanks. This execution £ orm allows, as stated in the main Patent, that after the sogenanaten üobbn °'s method to point in which a certain adjustment ring. its locking pin is opposite in the release position. The procedure is as simple as placing the mandrel under Auazugakratt and turning one of the adjustment rings. Impacts on the mandrel and the adjustment then show if the adjustment goes through his Uaungatellung, even if the other setting rings in the locked position are look. The results from the fact suo reasons never AEAG of Herstellungstoleränzen the mandrel through both lock is held pens in exactly the same Azialstelluna and consequently in solving a Sperrsti ta may learn through the associated 3instellring low aziale shift when, as in the embodiment according to the Main patent of Fell, the radial: outward displacement of the locking pin as a direct consequence the extraction of the mandrel occurs. To investigate
