In den Holzkasten A der Batterie sind die beiden, aus Hartgummi oder einem sonst geeigneten
Material bestehenden Behälter A1 und A2 passend eingesetzt, jedoch so, daß
die oberen Ränder dieser Behälter etwas unter dem oberen Rand des Holzkastens abschneiden.
Der Deckel α der Zellen, in welche aus Blei bestehende Elektrodenplatten B
irgendwelcher geeigneter Konstruktion eingesetzt sind, ist in einiger Entfernung unter
dem Rand der Zellen und über Ansätzen c2
der Platten angebracht, die abwechselnd mit Bügeln oder Winkeln C und C1 der positiven
und negativen Anschlußplatten verlötet sind oder mit diesen aus einem Stück bestehen.
Die senkrechten Schenkel der Winkel C C1 liegen in entgegengesetzten Ecken der Zellen
dicht an den Seitenwänden der letzteren an. Der am oberen Rand der Zellen horizontal
abgebogene Schenkel c1 der Winkel C und C1
hat einen Ansatz d1, der in die Aussparung eines auf dem Schenkel c1 angeordneten
Klotzes aus Holz oder anderem geeigneten Stoff passend eingreift. Dieser Klotz ist
mittels Schrauben d an einer Seitenwand des Holzkastens A befestigt und dient zur Befestigung
der Spindel E der Anschlußklemme oder Mutter e, welche den Leitungsdraht festhält.
Die Verbindung zweier Zellen erfolgt mittels an entgegengesetzten Elektroden angebrachter
Lappen C und Cb (Fig. 1 und 3),
